Last minute idea was a great one!
Guides were very informative and funny! Got to do some exploring in and around the Greenwich area and made our way home via the foot tunnel that goes under the Thames.

Enjoy London without walking
It was a beautiful day. My friend came from Newcastle and we just had a great day. The tour was an hour and great commentary. Toilets were clean and there was a bar for anyone wanting a drink. We bought tickets for a return which was worth it.

Greenwich park and observatory on a sunny spring day in London.
  • Greenwich is a lovely spot for London-goers looking for a break from the big city, offering a mix of history, culture, and scenic views along the London River.

  • Plan to spend at least a half-day or a full day exploring the area if you want to take in all the sights, including the world-famous Royal Observatory and Greenwich Market.

  • Wear comfortable shoes to explore on foot—it’s full of hills, cobblestone streets, and steps. Be sure to bring your appetite for some delicious London food found at local markets and eateries.

  • If you plan to visit during peak times, it’s wise to book tickets in advance for popular attractions like the Royal Observatory and the Cutty Sark to avoid long lines.

  • The Royal Observatory and many of the other attractions in the Prime Meridian location are wheelchair accessible.
