We took this tour, my husband and I, plus another couple. It was a fantastic tour. Yannis was so nice, knowledgeable. He took us out to small villages in Crete which was great way to see more than Chania. We had 2 large meals, coffee, visited a monastery. We were supposed to go for ice cream also, but we ran late, plus we couldn’t have ate another bite. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off. The only negatives are, I wish he had a larger car. Luckily we are not huge people because there was the 4 of us plus him in a sedan. Being only 5 feet tall, I sat in the middle on “the hump” for the whole trip. I larger vehicle would have been more comfortable. Also, we went to two restaurants where he ordered multiple items for us to try. We truly appreciated trying all the different foods, but I think he should set up with the restaurants to give smaller portions. We felt we wasted so much food, which none of us like to do. But we literally couldn’t eat any more.

This was a great experience and more than what we expected. A bus picked us up from Rethymno and we drove out to Elafonssi beach. It was approximately a 2 hour drive and well worth it. Kostas was a magnificent driver and maneuvered this huge bus through the mountains and Lazarus was a great guide. You get so much more than what you pay for.

It was nice to be picked up by a guide and a small tour bus. We didn’t have to worry about driving the narrow windy roads through the mountains.. The stop was perfect for a bathroom and refreshment break on the way to the beach and the lunch break after the beach was perfect. The beach was so beautiful with soft sand and nice warm and shallow water. Too bad we didn’t see much pink sand. We arrived about 10 min before crowds of people came so we were able to rent two sun beds and umbrella. It would’ve been too hot if they weren’t available. Really enjoyed the beach. Thought it was much nicer than Balos beach

Our tour of Crete with George was absolutely perfect! From the moment he picked us up in a comfortable, air-conditioned van, we knew we were in great hands. George, who was born and raised on the island, has an incredible wealth of knowledge about Crete and shared fascinating stories and history along the way. His English was excellent, and he was so friendly and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. The highlight, of course, was the drive out to stunning Elafonisi Beach — one of the most gorgeous places we’ve ever seen. You will need to bring your own towels and a change of clothes is recommended as well. George let us relax and spend as much time as we wanted there before taking us to a small local restaurant for lunch. He introduced us to authentic Cretan dishes and shared the background of the island’s culinary traditions, which made the meal even more special. This tour was the perfect mix of natural beauty, local culture, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend booking with George — he made our Crete experience unforgettable.

Nick made the experience very enjoyable, he is very flexible, allowed us to manage the time we were in. Hanianand gave us. Learncuides of what we were going to see, he also provided with other options. He is polite and professional. The tour was through, we spent sometime buying first boughatsa since I wan to try them, then we went to to see the site of of an old olive tree that is 4 million years old which was awesome, we were for a couple of hours at Falassarna beach and Nockmensured were treated well. The fina part of the tour was in the old town. It was hard to spend more time in the old town since we needed to be. A o at the cruise. It was a fantastic experience. Kudos to Nick!

Enjoyable day out for the family, we have twin teens. On/off the coach with multiple stops too break up the journey and get to see snipets of authentic Greece and village life. Locals were so welcoming. The host on the coach and the driver were knowledgeable and very friendly. The olive oil tour was interesting and such a lovely gift shop advicating for many local artists and artisans! Kornas itself seemed over commercialised on first arrival but actually we still really enjoyed the experience. Good choice of restaurants bars and shops. The lake itself was beautifully clean and the wildlife does not disappoint. Lots of pedalos to choose from or free swimming. Abundant with turtles and eels that hapily eat from your hands!. Take bread and go searching round the edges of the lake. Loved this day out and great value for money. Highly recommend 👌

I loved that this tour picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. Ingrid was an incredibly informative guide who was funny and supportive. I have no clue how Nikos, the bus driver, navigated the narrow streets, but he got us there and back in safely and comfort. The hike is fairly straightforward and down the whole way, so not challenging on the heart. It’s very rocky the whole way though, so footing can be tricky, but totally doable by almost everyone. Hiking poles were helpful, but not necessary. If you’re an experienced hiker, you can take your time down to actually enjoy nature and the environment. I feel like many people came and hiked down just as quick as possible without actually taking in the surrounding. I like the itinerary gave you enough time in the mountains and sea without consuming your entire day.

You don’t really need to bring anything on this tour! Yannis from GS Tours was fantastic! He took care of every need! He provided water, drove us to several charming villages and shared his knowledge with us. We learned so much and ate so much while having fun! A little hiking, a lot of eating and some drinking. If YANNIiS is your guide you’re guaranteed a great tour! 💜
