I cannot say enough amazing things about Angie! We decided to book this private tour because we didn’t know what to do in Crete. Angie customized a schedule for us and it exceeded our expectations. Our first was a monastery that my sister said was her favorite part of our entire 16 day vacation. Next she took us to a small village where we got to watch a man make pottery in the same way they’ve been doing it for over 2000 years. It was the most unique experience and absolutely my favorite part of the entire trip. We then went to see where they harvest honey and got to taste some of the local honey. Once you have Crete honey, you will never buy anything else. She then took us to a grab and go lunch spot. That was absolutely amazing! I have been craving pitas ever since. After lunch, we went on a tour of a local castle. The views were amazing! Our last stop was one of the best. We got to go to see where they harvest olive oil. I will forever be checking labels of olive oil to make sure it is produced in Crete. None of these destinations would have been anything we would have selected. I’m so glad we left it to Angie to decide. It truly was the highlight of our entire 16 day vacation.
We will definitely be making another trip to Crete to soak in the rest of this wonderful seaside destination.

Amazing guide, she was the BEST!! Great conservation and very informative. We had a blast. The gorge was beautiful, cold but worth the short swim. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Our lunch spot but the lion heads was wonderful. Highly recommend!!!!

We truly enjoyed our excursion with Angie to Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Kalypso Beach. The scenery was breathtaking, and we even had the chance to stop at an olive farm for olive oil and honey tasting, which was such a special experience. Angie was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to spend the day with. We loved every moment and would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Crete!

This was literally the best tour of our trip! Angie customized everything...certain areas we stayed longer, some shorter. She knew so much about Crete, and we got way more than we would have out of a big group booking. Honestly...if you are on the fence about booking-do it!! Worth every penny. Also, the locations we went to were fabulous! One of our favourite days of our entire 2 week trip!

We were traveling on a Seaborn cruise with a family of four which included two teenagers. Angie was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely engaging. I have two very active children who wanted to explore the island. She knew exactly where to go and kept the kids entertained at all time. We enjoyed the comforts of her Mercedes sprinter van, which was air-conditioned and clean. She had waters and snacks for us through the entire trip. I would highly recommend booking! She will definitely not disappoint!

Angie was our tour guide. She was amazing. She had a warm, bubbly personality that made the day really fun. Crete is a beautiful island and we got a chance to try some local snacks, visit an old village, see the gorge (it was too windy to swim in it), ended up at their lake to swim, ate a local Cretan lunch (Angie helped make great recommendation on what food to order). The vehicle was very comfortable and was able to accommodate my tall family. It was one of my family's favorite activities to do while on our 13 day European vacation.

It was an incredible day spent in Crete! Angie was such a fun and fantastic guide and we saw some amazing places on this beautiful island. We learned about the history while also enjoying some of the highlights - a swim in a beautiful natural spring waterfall at the base of a gorge, visiting the beautiful Kalypso beach, a delicious sea-side lunch that was the best gyro I’ve ever tasted, and then olive oli factory and winery tours/tasting! It’s amazing we fit it all in, in one day, but it never felt rushed! I would highly recommend this tour and Angie is literally one of the best! My whole family loved the day spent with her! We miss her/Crete already!

I booked this experience for my family of 9 adult children. After reading all the reviews, we had high expectations and Angie exceeded them! Of course the scenery, the stops, the experiences, and lunch were amazing, but what differentiates Angie is her authenticity, ability to connect with people, love of her island, and attention to details. You MUST book this excursion. Angie is a spectacular guide. She’s a wealth of facts about the island and so friendly and personable. You will instantly fall in love with her. She curated such a special itinerary and was able to quickly bring us to another fabulous stop despite one of the beaches being closed due to the wind. During our whole trip to Greece this was by far the best experience we had. I haven’t been able to stop telling all my friends and family about my day with Angie. From exploring a traditional Cretan home, trying the best honey, and relaxing on the beautiful beach of Kalypso. It truly was the perfect day. We couldn’t do the gorge because of an earthquake, but we got to explore a beautiful lake on a paddle boat instead. It was stunning. But, at the end of the day what made it so great was Angie. It was like we were exploring and hanging with a friend all day. The experience would not have been the same with anyone else. You must book this experience. I honestly can’t wait to come back and spend more time with her!

We stopped off in a little village in Spili to visit the cutest Museum where the owner happily showed us his collection of antiques.
We went to several other places and got to take some amazing photos. 📸
We had a yummy lunch 🍝 🥗🌯 by a lake 🦆🛶 which had breathtaking views.
After lunch we stopped for an Olive Oil 🫒and Honey 🍯 🐝 tasting where we got to meet the owner who took us and showed us the process his family used to make the Olive Oil. A totally unique experience and day out.
I highly recommend Angie and this tour.
We were a group of three who fitted in her Jeep but she has a bus to accommodate larger groups.
We will remember our tour of Crete forever and thank Angie very much for making it so special. 💕🙏

My two friends and I cannot stop talking about how amazing our time with Angie was. It was truly the highlight of our 10 day stay. We are actually planning to come back to Crete for a longer stay after our trip with Angie. The day was a nice mix of history, good food, a bit of adventure, and absolutely incredible views. The hike is tough, but absolutely worth it. The gorge at the bottom was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Angie is incredibly knowledgeable about her country and we learned a lot! Also make sure you buy some seasoning from Maravel Gardens; I wish I would have bought more!! Overall absolutely 10/10 experience and cannot recommend Crete or Angie enough!!

Spili, the gorge, and the beach were all fantastic. The tour exceeded our expectations and Aggeliki was what every tour guide should be! She is very personable, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. She even laughed at our jokes! Her vehicle was immaculate and very comfortable. I would book other tours with Aggeliki without hesitation. Should I return to Crete we will definitely use her services again!

We had a great day with Angie. She was friendly, informative and fun to be with. The stops on the trip were varied and gave us a sense of what Crete has to offer. The olive oil and honey tasting is not truly an experience - it’s a taste in a shop. So if you’re looking for an immersive experience, you would possibly be disappointed. Our stop in the Spili Folklore Museum was beyond hysterical with Manolis sharing the random artifacts. He had us laughing non stop. The gorge was awesome. The highlight was Kalypso Beach and swimming in the amazing water and then delicious gyros for lunch before heading back. Thank you Angie!!

This was a great all day tour made excellent by our host, Maria. When we first booked the tour we booked mostly for the water portions of the adventure since we thought visiting a folk museum, yawn, would be uneventful, however the curator at the folk museum was outstanding. Maria, our guide was so warm and inviting she felt like family by the end of the day. We highly recommend this tour with Maria.

Had an incredible day with Angie. She was so pleasant and both great company and very informative of the Island of Crete. She was flexible with the days schedule and all the stops we made were incredible. The Gorge she took us too especially was breathtaking. One of the highlights of the trip for sure. Would definitely recommend the tour to someone looking to explore a bit of the southern parts of Crete with a local guide.

We had the absolute best time on this excursion. We seriously couldn't have asked for a better day. Angi knew that we were shorter on time because we were on a cruise and she made it work. Not only is she the absolute best, but she took us to the best places! She was so knowledgeable about everything and she was so fun to talk to and have along with us on our trip! The gorge and Kalypso are sooo beautiful, it was the best part of our entire trip. We also loved the olive oil and honey tasting, it was so delicious! It was so cool to see the things that aren't as touristy, it felt like such a real and authentic experience. I seriously could not recommend this trip more, we are already itching to come back! (and we made the best new friend!)

This is an amazing tour. While the scheduled stops are great, the private nature of the tour allows you flexibility to modify the stops as desired. We spent more time in the gorge and then had a beautiful lunch at a local restaurant. However, both the village and beach were beautiful and great to see. Angie (Owner and Guide) and Maria (Our Guide) were extremely knowledgeable and attentive to our desired interests. I would highly recommend this tour. Side note, at the gorge the water is cold, but you have to push through to see the the amazing sites at the base of the waterfall. It requires a 25m swim through the gorge. Pack a water proof bag for your phone/camera.

We truly had the best day on this tour and with Angie. We stopped at such beautiful and interesting places that we otherwise would not have known about, or visited on our own. Kalypso beach is beautiful, the folk museum was very interesting, and the gorge is a once in a lifetime experience. We also stopped at a beautiful tavern for lunch, where the food was so fresh and traditional. There is the perfect amount of time at each spot to properly explore. The drive was also very comfortable and enjoyable. Angie was so flexible and accommodating throughout the whole day. She was so informative and shared so much local knowledge and interesting facts about Crete throughout the trip. We were a group of 4 girls and with Angie it felt like we were all on a big girls trip. We had the best time together and I wish we had more time in Crete so we could book another tour with Angie and do it all again. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we will definitely be booking with Angie on our next visit to Crete.

Where do I even begin- this tour was the highlight of my 23 days in Greece by miles. Angie was the kindest guide, so knowledgeable, and really clearly familiar with all the locals in town. This woman knows her island- the beaches and museums and restaurants were all the best we’d experienced. Her driving was hands down the safest, and the whole trip felt safe without being dull. Looking back, we did so much but never once felt rushed- which is a big plus for private tours. I’m a decently experienced traveler, but I know for certain none of there experiences were on any listacles of places to visit, but this is THE tour to book. You can’t DIY the passion and experience Angie brings. When we come back to Crete, I wouldn’t event consider booking outside of Angie’s company for tours- it’s really that great.
I would also like to add that private tours are pricey, and you may be on the fence between this and 2-3 group tours. I say this as someone who had traveled both ways, and this private tour is far better than any pairing of cheaper tours you’ll experience. This is a must-do when you visit Crete, and the tour itself is perfectly curated to let you get a little of everything in one day.

We had the best day with our guide Angie. Our favorite stop was the gorge and waterfall. However, this tour really had a wonderful collection of stops to give you a taste of what Crete has to offer. We didn’t feel rushed at any of the stops and enjoyed our conversation through the day with Angie.
