The walk to the waterfalls takes approximately 20 minutes each way. The path can be steep, uneven, and occasionally muddy, so we recommend wearing appropriate footwear.

Not recommended for children under five years of age.
Marvel at Caerphilly Castle.
We suggest securing a personal activity insurance plan to guard against potential income loss in the unlikely event of an accident during a walk.
Kindly be aware that large luggage and cabin bags/trolleys are not allowed. We only permit backpacks or bags up to 40 cm × 20 cm × 25 cm, to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers.

Pleasant experience

Mr.Max was our guide. It was a nice experience to trek to the Batman cave & Henrhydd waterfalls and the Caerphilly castle. It was nice to take a stroll among the sheep on the rolling hills near Pen Y Fan of Brecon Beacons national park. Overall a pleasant tour. Mr.Max gave us so much information not only about the places we visited, but about Welsh cuisine, foods to try, restuarants to try, places to visit, the language etc. Finally, a keychain (a souvenir) with the Welsh flag with the red scorpion was given to all.

Max, our guide, was absolutely awesome. We had a wonderful time and saw many beautiful castles, amazing landscapes and mountains, as well as a stunning waterfall, everything was perfect. This tour is highly recommended. Max was very mindful throughout the day and also gave us thoughtful parting gifts at the end of the tour. In addition, Max shared fantastic recommendations for things to do in Cardiff and other places to visit across Wales, along with great suggestions for restaurants, pubs, and Welsh specialties to try. I would highly recommend requesting Max as your guide when visiting Wales.

What an absolutely awesome tour of Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons! Max was a wealth of knowledge and care. We experienced an absolutely beautiful waterfall in the Beacons! Some found it challenging, but I found it exhilarating! I went behind the falls and soaked in the beauty of the area and the glorious sound! Then visited the town of Beacon. What a pleasure! The tour continued to Castell Caerffili. The opportunity to have adequate time to absorb the magnificent castle made the tour. This tour has my highest recommendation!

Beautiful Wales Countryside

It was wonderful to see the beautiful Wales countryside. This tour was jam packed with activities. Max was a awesome tour guide. He was very informative. The falls was a bit challenging for me. I walk with a cane but not severely dependant on it. I used a set of hiking poles to steady myself. There is a steep decline to the falls and the climb back up was tuff. Max assured me that he would wait for me if need be or if it was too much for me I could turn back and return to the van. I managed the trip there and back and out paced the group. It takes 20 minutes each way. Wear shoes with treads, the path is rocky and slippery. Im glad I attempted the trip to the falls. It was worth the pain in my legs.

This is a very full day, come well rested. Sometimes the castles are not available and the trip changes at the last minute comma disappointing but not the tour guides fault.

In such cases, our guides always provide enjoyable alternative stops rather than shortening the tour, in order to enhance the overall experience. Your comment refers to a castle where we used to make a brief 20-minute photo stop; this has now been replaced with a beautiful walk through the national park. The rest of the 7.5-hour tour continued as scheduled. We hope to welcome you again in the future on another tour together.

If you are looking to explore South Wales and wish for a taste of what it has to offer, this tour has it! It was a lovely day out getting to explore! The activities were well paced allowing one to really enjoy all the stops. What made the experience even better was our wonderful driver and guide, Max. We went on a beautiful spring morning. We loved the waterfall and walking through the woods! Max, our guide, told us about the food, the castles and the history of the area while traveling. We also saw an old church and a very old tree. I loved it all! Max was a very good driver!

Mountains, waterfalls, and castles

This is a great way to see south Wales. Our driver, Max, was phenomenal and gave us plenty of insights into Wales history and present day. He looked after everyone and made an effort to get to know each group member to make the experience memorable. The waterfall was amazing, though it does require some effort :). If you need a snack while visiting Caerphilly Castle, we highly recommend Fablas Ice Cream right across the street. I would recommend this tour to anyone in the south Wales area!

Small group trip of 8 maximum. There were 6 of us and it was perfect. The guide was very friendly the magnificent visit, which allowed us to discover a little more the country of galls . only one flat he spoke only in English . Being French and speaking very little English an audio guide would have been perfect.
