- The walk to the waterfalls takes approximately 20 minutes each way. The path can be steep, uneven, and occasionally muddy, so we recommend wearing appropriate footwear.
- Kindly be aware that large luggage and cabin bags/trolleys are not allowed. We only permit backpacks or bags up to 40 cm × 20 cm × 25 cm, to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers.

Make this your first tour of the wonderful city of Cardiff and its surroundings - we did - as it happens to be a fantastic way to explore both the cultural heritage and natural history of city! Our guide, Max, has a natural talent for bringing the city and its surroundings to life. His narration was informative, engaging, and genuinely entertaining, with fascinating insights into Cardiff’s history, landmarks, people, and spectacular landscapes. The natural terrain was absolutely breathtaking, providing a wonderful blend of scenery, culture, and history throughout the day. If there was one caveat, it was that the trip simply went far too quickly! It was such an enjoyable and enriching experience that I only wished we had more time. Highly recommended!
Amazing tour! The minibus was very comfortable and clean, and our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. We loved the photo stops along the way and having the opportunity to explore at our own pace. Amazing service!

A proper sightseeing tour! We stopped at so many places without ever feeling rushed. Brecon town is a little gem, and the views of the rolling hills are absolutely fabulous.

The tour guide was excellent, but the tour was only ok. Sites not very interesting and did not visit a waterfall even though that was supposed to be a main stop. The national park, it just farm fields.

We understand how disappointing it was that the waterfall visit wasn’t possible due to the exceptional drought. Britain experienced an unusually dry season, with many rivers and waterfalls almost completely dry. We contacted you before the tour to explain the itinerary change and offered the option to cancel up to 24 hours before departure if the alternative itinerary wasn’t suitable.
It was a wonderful trip with lots of information and beautiful views . Max , our guide and driver shared many interesting things . He knows a lot about Wales, both South and North. I had the feeling that he truly likes what he is doing . He is also a very good driver . If you want a day in the countryside , this is the trip !

Day Trip from Cardiff went really went. Everything went smooth.
Max was superb. He was very informative about wales and as well as good driver.
Takes good photos too
Scenaries were nice as well.
Weather was just nice too.
Will recommend this for those who are on tight schedule to visit Wales.

I had an incredible time on the Cardiff, South Wales Mountains, Waterfalls, and More day tour with Max. Traveling with such a small group was a pleasure, and Max was incredibly attentive to everyone's needs, timing everything perfectly. He was a wealth of knowledge about the area and shared fantastic insights along the way. I especially appreciated his attention to detail and care when we visited the waterfall, which was quite dry due to the high temperatures. Max's positivity and the great company of fellow travelers made for an unforgettable experience.

First of all, experience clearly said capped at 8 people are there were 13 on this trip. That was annoying for how much we paid for it. Then there was a site that was closed due to a tree falling down, our tour guide had no idea about it. I felt like he should have done his research and looked it up before hand. Then his driving, terrible. Awful. Carsickness was caused.
But the 2 most annoying parts about this tour was that we stopped at each location but were only given like 10 minutes to see it. If we wanted to actually enter most things we would have to come back on our own. That was NOT EMPHASIZED anywhere on this description. And second, everyone in my family agreed that our tour guide Max seemed like he did not want to be there. Gave us the bare minimum information that he memorized and then herded us back into the car for the next destination. It was hurried and when we asked questions he said he didn’t know??? Isn’t that the point of a tour guide?
Also not emphasized on the description was how hard the waterfall climb was. We had my 70 year old parents and there was another man with a cane. And a girl got lost. And they didn’t have complimentary gift bags for my parents, only me and my husband… so annoying and disappointing.
Did not make for a great impression and will not be booking with this tour guide or company again. Very disappointed for how much we paid.

Max was our guide for this tour, and he was awesome! He gave us interesting insight to the history of the area (and a few jokes as well!). He made sure to let us know when there would be bathrooms so we could plan ahead. Overall it was great?

A good varied day and Max our driver/guide was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful information. The only slight negative is the walk to the waterfall is quite testing and in places not very safe especially for older or unfit travellers. To be fair you are warned about this but you only discover the problems once you have started the descent.

Max the guide and driver was great. He gave us a lot of insight into Wales which I enjoyed. The “waterfall” was barely a trickle and you had to work too hard to see it. Trail was poorly marked, uneven, lots of roots, and required too much effort for a letdown. To be fair, Max warned us there had not been much rain lately. We really enjoyed the Yew tree discussion he included. Wales is a beautiful country. Your tours should focus on other parts of the country and forget about this waterfall.

What many of our guests appreciate most about this tour is the variety of landscapes and places we visit. It is a true sightseeing experience, with small groups that allow us to explore hidden gems away from the crowds.
We believe it’s more rewarding to enjoy a peaceful 15-minute stroll through the woods to discover a secluded “trickle” as you called than to simply take a photo at a large waterfall surrounded by a crowd of thousands of visitors. We enjoyed the tour. Max did a very capable job as our guide and driver. Having later gone on another tour in the north of Wales, however, I think the scenery just pales a bit by comparison. But glad we were able to see a bit of Brecon Beacons NP.

This was a lovely experience!! Max was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very entertaining, and the tour gives you the chance to see a lot of wonderful places around South Wales. The Falls were my favourite, though the walk there is a bit arduous, especially on a hot day like we had! It definitely helped to have water on hand and that the tour went at a very leisurely and careful pace -- there was never a feeling of being rushed so I was able to take everything in the way I hoped.

It was a full 8 hour tour that involved many stops which was wecomed to stretch our legs and the opportunity to take May pictures. Our tour guide Max was thoughtful, considerate, and knowledgeable. We were blessed with fantastic weather so the trip was perfect

It’s what I expected on this type of tour to be and then more. The tour is just enough time to see the things included in the itinerary. From 0830 to around 1630. Enough time to get back to the city and explore more. We went to several areas and with the warm weather, I was able to take a lot of photos. It was tiring due to all the activities were packed in one tour but it was all worth it. Max was great! He was a great driver and even though he is not originally from here ( Wales/ Cardiff), you can tell he lives what he does and knows histories and stories in the places we went. I didn’t feel rushed. He gives us enough time to explore. He was a good conversationalist. I would highly recommend this tour if you have only a few days to spare here in Cardiff.

This was a comprehensive tour given by our knowledgeable tour guide Max.
We took a nice hike down to the beautiful waterfalls and back, as well as a hike through some sheep pastures for amazing panorama views.
There were frequent trips for taking photos and exploring and eating and Max was a fountain of information about Wales with great recommendations on things to do and eat as well.
Would highly recommend this day trip to anyone looking to have an intimate look at southern Wales.

This was a perfect day in South Wales. We had a beautiful walk to the waterfall, plenty of time to explore in Breton, and saw some wonderful sites. We liked the short distances between stops. Our guide Max was kind, careful, and well informed.
