Great walking tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great introduction to the city and our guide gave us several great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Highly recommend this tour!

James was interesting and knowledgeable and showed us some parts of Cardiff that we may otherwise have missed.
Tour was canceled because of weather which was 68 & sunny. We were notified by email not text, so spent a lot of wasted time waiting for the Tour guide to show up

Hi Mark,
The tour was cancelled due to the weather, as the conditions were causing branches from the 200-year-old trees to fall onto the paths we would have been walking, making it unsafe to proceed.
I’m sorry that you didn’t see the email regarding the cancellation and that this resulted in any wasted time or inconvenience.

Great tour! James was really friendly and knowledgeable, and he showed us around Cardiff really well. I especially liked how he shared recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area too. Would definitely recommend!

This tour was a fantastic introduction to the city. I had limited time so wanted an overview so I could explore by myself for the rest of the day and it was great for that.
We were in Cardiff for the day so we visited the castle and then chose this walking tour. Our guide's name is James Wilcox and he was excellent! Great communication and he gave us the guided walking tour. James is professional, courteous and personable. He shared lots of information and answered all of our questions. He tailored the tour to our requests and was so helpful with recommendations of other things to do and see while in Cardiff. I highly recommend this tour and do request James for your guide! This is a perfect way to see and learn more about Cardiff and it is an easy walk. We were blessed with fabulous weather which made this walking tour even better! 5 stars for this tour and for James our wonderful guide.

We booked a short walking tour of Cardiff and our guide James was brilliant. He has a relaxed and easy going manner with a good sense of humour. He is very knowledgeable about Cardiff and we found his tour very informative and thoroughly entertaining.
The walking tour was with James and he was a great tour guide! I’m glad I went on my first morning in Cardiff because it gave me a good understanding of the local area and where to go for the rest of my visit. I found myself returning to some of the spots we saw on the tour. Easy, interesting, informative and fun!
The tour was not very informative and comprehensive. About half of it was good. Our guide was very fast talking and chatty.

Lots of information on the tour. I wish we had taken this tour on our first day visit in Cardiff rather than our third day.
A great, interesting, entertaining walking tour that gave me a strong feel for the various facets of Cardiff from culture to food to history. It really brought the city alive. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
James was outstanding and very personable. He is very knowledgeable and make it easy for you to understand and lots of details and stories. Highly recommend!!
James helped orient us to Cardiff, recommended places to eat, have a pint, walked us around several of the arcades, and suggested other activities - even beyond Cardiff itself - that made this with the booking.

Great introduction to Cardiff and what's what. I find it's best to try and do tours like this at the START of your visit as it then gives you ideas of places to go and visit during your stay.
During the tour we explored the history and culture of Cardiff. Shown places to eat and artisan shops and places of interest - Stadium, Gareth Bale's pub amongst countless others. I was glad to be shown where Spillers Record shop is as it was somewhere I was wishing to visit during my stay and had forgotten about until I was stood right in front of it during the tour - alas it was Monday so it was shut!!
James was an excellent tour guide and made the experience both interesting and educational and fun.
Just enjoy learning about the vibrant, interesting city of Cardiff. Our guide was most informative regarding the history and cultural background.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Cardiff. In fact I asked him if he was a history major! It was a full two hours. He pointed out many sites that would appeal to many different interests to go back to for a closer look.
James was a wonderful, enthusiastic tour guide who not only delivered an informative tour on the city’s history, but also provided me with some helpful tips as someone who is hoping to move to the city! The tour breezed by and I feel like I’ve learned a good deal that’s made me even more excited to study here. I also found myself revisiting some of the spots later in my trip, and bumped into James again on my last day! James, thanks again for everything—you were awesome!

The rain stopped long enough to enjoy our walking tour with James. It would have been just as good in the rain, but wetter. Seriously, it is always great to hear the history and highlights of a place from someone who clearly cares about it. We will have fond memories of Cardiff to take back home. Highly recommended.
