This was a thoroughly enjoyable day trip that my family and I took during our visit to Cardiff, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. The tour began from an easily accessible meeting point near the city centre, where we boarded a comfortable small bus/van and set off to explore some of the beautiful coastal scenery and villages surrounding Cardiff. Our guides for the day were Max, whom we had previously met on another tour, and Josh. Both gentlemen were absolutely excellent. They combined extensive knowledge with a relaxed and engaging style, sharing fascinating facts about the history, culture, geography, and present-day character of the places we visited. Their narration was informative without ever becoming tedious, and their courtesy and professionalism added considerably to the experience. Among the highlights were our stop in Swansea, followed by a visit to the charming village of Mumbles, where we enjoyed spectacular views and a lovely walk along the beach. We also had a wonderful coastal walk at Caswell Bay, before finishing the day with a memorable stop at the breathtaking Rhossili Beach. Overall, this was a fantastic excursion. Max and Josh were exemplary guides, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cardiff.

Make this your first tour of the wonderful city of Cardiff and its surroundings - we did - as it happens to be a fantastic way to explore both the cultural heritage and natural history of city! Our guide, Max, has a natural talent for bringing the city and its surroundings to life. His narration was informative, engaging, and genuinely entertaining, with fascinating insights into Cardiff’s history, landmarks, people, and spectacular landscapes. The natural terrain was absolutely breathtaking, providing a wonderful blend of scenery, culture, and history throughout the day. If there was one caveat, it was that the trip simply went far too quickly! It was such an enjoyable and enriching experience that I only wished we had more time. Highly recommended!

A perfect way to see more of Wales. We really enjoyed our time in the seaside town of Mumbles and can only imagine how beautiful it is when the tide is in. The coastal walk and our time to explore Worm’s Head and Rhossili Bay were the highlights, though. I wish we’d had more time so we could have also walked the path to the beach, but the views from above were spectacular. We were fortunate to have a clear, sunny day.
