Magnificent journey and magical moment

Be prepared to get a very early for the pickup. The tour starts with a quick cup of coffee and knosh and then out to a field where they inflate the balloons. You launch with a hundred other balloons at the same time. The basket is divided into sections of 3-4 people making you feel very safe and secure. My wife is scared of heights and yet when we took off so gently she never ever was afraid. The sunrise while you're up in the air and the view of the majestic terrain is breathtaking. One of the best activities we have ever done. Highly recommended!

Excellent Time In The Air!

A magical experience and definitely worth the money and patience! Flights were cancelled the first day and we rebooked the next day with fingers and toes crossed. Rainbows Colours crew were wonderful… from the time we got picked up from our hotel to the end. The view from above was incredible and surreal as well. Staff are well trained and very efficient. Never forget to tip at the end…it is a costly production and all deserve a reward at the end!

Amazing experience

You know what to expect when you book this experience, it's in the description. But I did not expect two things there. First is that the balloon may descend REALLY low to the ground for us to see some of the rock formations and carved out structures, that was amazing. At some point we descended into a pit between rocks, flying just above someone's house, and then while we were hovering just a meter above a hill I was able to pick a random flower growing there for my girlfriend, that's how low and precise the pilot was! Second thing is that at the end of the flight we landed on a pick up track, not on the ground! The track's driver and the pilot amused us with their precise team work one more time. Also it's a great opportunity to make a proposal at the sunrise :)

Gorgeous!

You can’t go to Cappadocia and not do the balloon flight. Our whole day was relatively painless—our car was on time and pickup was easy; we got to the balloon and took off on time (though the company had nothing to do with the ability to fly! That’s down to government regulations, so no one should hold that against the company); the views are breathtaking. Breakfast is small, and the champagne afterwards is a little perfunctory, but we weren’t paying for food and drinks—we were paying for the flight. And that was everything we could have wanted!

It was an excellent...

It was an excellent flying trip for us. The staff were very friendly. Hotel pick up on time, breakfast prepared, hot balloon taking off promptly, landed with champagne celeration. We had a woman pilot and she was fantastic - very clearly about safety and humourous too! The view was amazing as expected. Everything was spotless! We recommend this company 100%!

Great activity!

We really enjoyed our horse ride at sunset. We rode to a stop where you could visit photo points and an old church. There was also refreshments to purchase including fresh orange juice! The horse was easy to ride and it was just a fantastic evening activity when visiting cappadocia. Pick up was from the centre of Goreme

The staff were incredibly professional and friendly from start to finish. Our hot air balloon ride was absolutely amazing. It was an early morning to start off the trip. We are glad that we took the second flight as there was not much sun for the first flight. Hence the second flight had a better light. Flight over Ihlara Valley

We had a very enjoyable and scenic flight for two main reasons: 1) our pilot was excellent and 2) there was a thick layer of snow on the close by mountains, which made for very picturesque scenes. The fight was, however advertised as being in Goreme and at sunrise. In spite of being picked up at 03h50 we only arrived at the launch site after sunrise due to a two hour drive to get there. This was very disappointing from a photography point of view. If you, like us, are wanting to capture images of the unique Goreme landscape at sunrise, this is not the hot air balloon ride for you. Clients should be informed of this in future.

Great experience. Driver was on time and courteous. I had to contact viator ahead of reservation since my hotel was slightly out of the pick up range, but once it was approved with the operator I made a reservation. You enter your flight times and the operator determines what time you will be picked up. We had 6am pickup for a 9:30am flight departure. It takes approximately 1 hour to drive to the Kayseri airport, so we had plenty of time to check-in and get a bite to eat before boarding. (Bring your own food, the airport food is extremely expensive!)

It was an amazing...

It was an amazing experience! With every penny. We couldn’t fly the day before due to weather. So we changed our reservation to the next day and we didn’t disappoint. The bus picked us up on time and the crew helped get us onto the balloon basket. The captain was very skillful and had over 17 years of flying experience. At no point did we feel unsafe. I’m very impressed with the whole operation and the government regulations to ensure it’s safe to fly. Loved it! And the scenery over the chimneys landscape was breathtaking!
