I would give this 6 stars if I could. Our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The ride was spectacular and not just thr typical ride out and back. We rode through thr fairy cones and up into the mountains to a historic Christian church cave. I would recommend this ride to anyone. Even those with no riding experience.

I accidentally missed the message they sent about pick up time and missed my original day. They were great and allowed my friend and I to make it up the next day so we didn’t lose our money. Lots of dogs and cats!

Beautiful view, horses are well taken care of.
I recommend it for both beginners and experienced riders.

The sunset horse riding tour was truly the most magical experience we’ve ever had. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the kind you only dream about — and the natural beauty all around made it unforgettable.
The horses were gentle, beautifully natured, and clearly well cared for. Even if you’ve never ridden before, don’t worry — the horses are incredibly patient, and the guide does an excellent job matching each rider with the right horse.
The owners were so warm and welcoming, it felt like visiting old friends. We’re genuinely grateful to have come across such lovely people and this incredible experience.
The scenery and atmosphere were so stunning that my partner was completely overwhelmed — she ended up talking nonstop and accidentally ruined her own proposal moment! 😂 It made for a hilarious and unforgettable story we’ll cherish forever.
We absolutely recommend this tour and will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful memory.

This was my favorite thing we’ve done so far!! The most amazing views, beautiful sunset. The horses were very well trained, very easy for an inexperienced rider. It was a great way to take in the view.

We had a lovely evening horse-riding in a stunning area of Goreme.
Bus collected us on time for the short ride to the stables and staff were very attentive during the tour. it was a great way of seeing the subset in the stunning valley. It was glorious and everything was done professionally. We would recommend doing it.

Beautiful horse ride through the valley - you get to access areas that the cars and ATVs won't see. Guides were good with the horses, who seemed decently cared for. My only reason for 4 stars is it would have been nice to have some information or history about the valley to accompany the tour.

OMG, what a beautiful experience! I have been on many trail rides around the world and this was one of the best … the scenery was terrific, it was well led (and very safe), and a bonus was the pack of little dogs who escorted us the entire way.
(Note: If you are a more experienced rider, this is purely a walk-only ride, not a place to test your skills 🙂)

Absolutely beautiful ride. I booked the solo sunset tour and it was the most magical ride ever! I couldn’t recommend this more.

Great relaxed horseback tour through valleys in Cappadocia. Guides led us by foot with timely pickup and drop off. Highly Recommend.
Charmaine_Y, Oct 2024
Very well organised horse riding tour. It was timed perfectly so we could see the valley at the best (dusk) time and lighting.
Guides were helpful and reassuring and knew the horses well.

Sunset views on horseback travelling through Rose and Red Valley was beautiful. Staff were very helpful.

It was amazing experience!! We got private Sunset tour, it was really worth to join. He helped us a lot!! Very good location, wonderful view with sweet Horses!!

They rushed the entire experience. They won't even let you click pictures in the scenic spots. Other tour operators were giving tourists space to breathe, experience the scenic beauty, and get some good photos, here they were too eager to finish the tour. Your entire tour would just finish in a rush.

Picked me up from the hotel, English speaking guide. Small group of 6, 2 guides. Really nice and friendly. Would recommend doing a sunset tour rather than a day tour as it gets too hot during the day. It was cheaper booking it online here than what the hotels offer. I did this solo.

We had a lot of fun. Horses and their dogs accompanied us throughout. Our guides were nice. Church caves was good too.
Don't strictly need to do this at sunset time as you aren't going to a sunset point as such. Any time works.

The guide named Mussa was very disrespectful, didn’t provide any instructions or clear guidance. He kept shouting at me in a very rude way infront of everyone. A lady fell off the horse and instead of making sure that she is okay he went angry and made everyone feel uncomfortable and bad. I canceled the return way and kept walking and he never initiate a ride to take me back. Kept walking and lost the way back too. Horrible guide made the experience very poor.

Honestly the best part of my holiday. I had many things booked on my trip and horse riding beat them all. The views you get was just magical, it was the first time riding a horse yet I felt comfortable from start to finish. Staff were also very nice and the whole process from booking to pick ups was smooth. Highly recommend

We went for the sunset tour. It was absolutely divine. We got picked up from the central station promptly, and a quick 3 minute drive landed us at the ranch. We met the owner and our horses, got on, and set off. The horses were very well-behaved even for first time riders (like myself). The rose and red valleys were the places we explored, and the pictures do not do it justice at all. It’s even more beautiful. The horse handlers that came with us were attentive and even took pictures for us. If you’re lucky, some of the dogs that live on the ranch will also come along with you for the ride. You need to do this.
Jennifer_D, Sep 2023
Excellent ranch. Horses are well cared for and only take one ride a day, as are the three dogs that come along for the ride. Views are stunning heading out and heading in. While I would rather ride further into the valleys and for longer, 30 min of the trip is a stop at a cave church where you can have a fresh juice and rest. The church is well preserved and the view from the top is stunning. This ride is more about riding through sunset, not getting to a specific point to see sunset. The staff also stops to take photos at a couple of appropriate points. Lastly, I read the email wrong as to meeting point time. They called me and even provided ranch location via WhatsApp so we could meet them directly there. Could have easily just left without us and we were so appreciative they did not. Highly recommended!

The horses acted like they hadn’t been fed in months. They kept wanting to stop for food (grass) and the guys wouldn’t let them and would yank and force them by their mouth rings. Then when we’d stop for pictures, they’d get tied in these rings on the rocks on a grass less area (of course since there’s rocks and caves) and the few grass patches there was, the horses could get to them because they couldn’t lower their heads enough to reach the ground and seemed uncomfortable. Another rider even asked if the horses got fed. Not only that, they’re forced to walk through very very thin and narrow and steep trails where they look massively uncomfortable and come out limping. Horrible and will never go horseback riding again unless I own the horse. Very traumatizing experience
Response from Host, Sep 2023
Hello, first of all, thank you for your concern, but I want to underline that all of the things you said are unjust. If you were an experienced rider, you would know that the horses look healthy and are well fed. You would also know that horses do not get fed all the time, although they would like to eat all the time. They have regular feeding times during the day. It is actually very important that they don’t have full stomachs before the tour because of their digestive system. Grass and leaves are like chips, meaning they could to snack on them all the time, it’s in their nature. As for the route, the horses know them inside out, we pride ourselves in taking care of them and keeping them in the most natural way possible meaning in their habitat. We appreciate every comment, and it is quite normal that not everybody would like this tour. What we don’t appreciate is any implication that we don’t take care of our horses , anybody that knows anything about this magnificent animal will see at first sight that this is our number one priority , we don’t care about anything else than the well-being of our horses and guests.

OMG what an experience- the horses, the care, the organisation and most importantly the trail at sunset - it’s breathtaking :)
vballplaya32, Aug 2023
Fun experience. We took a ride to the top of one of the mountains and stopped for some of the sunrise. Beverages and fresh orange juice was available for purchase. On the way down the employees took pictures for us on our horses with the sunset in the background.
Something different and unique to do! Not much instruction was given on riding the horses but the owners walked alongside the horses the whole way and were able to help correct the horses if needed.
Jillian_C, Aug 2023
Everything went very smoothly. Beautiful horses that appear to be well-treated. A ride up the Valley to the Crusader's Church, then back down past fairy chimenys when the backdrop of a beautiful sunset. A well-organized process.
Stephanie_Q, Aug 2023
The guides were helpful to take pictures at the designated areas with the love valley as background and sunset view. Perhaps more commentary in English would have been great. Some history or some background about the place. We just rode through, stopped for a coffee/tea/juice with pictures time and continued riding. A few horses seem a little skinny not sure if it was just me who isn’t familiar with horses.
Youssef_A, Aug 2023
The landscape is just otherworldly, with those famous fairy chimneys and unique rock formations surrounding you as you ride.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. If you're ever in Cappadocia, don't miss the opportunity to see it from horseback. It's a relaxing, beautiful way to connect with the land and its history.
Larica_S, Jun 2023
We were very lucky and booked an evening where we were the only couple with the guide. The horses were beautiful and well behaved (once we realised a gentle nudge was needed for our greedy horses when they passed their favourite grass or trees!). As my first time on a horse, I felt comfortable after a little while and the guide was constantly checking over his shoulder to give instructions or see we were okay. As promised, the sunset view on horseback was beautiful and we got some lovely photos taken.
A nice, relaxed experience over the Cappadocia landscape!
Anne_R, Jun 2023
The horses were beautiful, saddles comfortable & scenery spectacular! Loved the sunset ride & very friendly staff. Excellent fresh orange juice available at the turning point & plenty pretty wild flowers to see along the way.
