Horse riding excellent
A special thanks to Mansoor for being such a helpful and friendly guide. He made sure we had a great experience, showed us some amazing places, and went the extra mile throughout the tour. Fartana and Caramela were wonderful, gentle horses, and together they made this an unforgettable trip. Highly recommended!

Red tour Cappadocia, Turkey
Did this tour all day on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Great overall! The guide, Ali, was very knowledgeable and the van driver, Mustafa, was kind. It’s an all-day tour and much less physical than the Green Tour of Cappadocia. The pick-up and drop-off services were very convenient and crucial for tourists as the roads are confusing, very narrow and hilly. The gem store they stop at is nice, but the pottery store was definitely the best! Family owned for generations. They give you certificates of authenticity with purchases. Budget 200–600 USD to spend there. FYI, the better bathrooms (with western toilets and clean) are at the gem store, the pottery store, museums and restaurants. There was also a visit to an undergrad cave city. The good thing about this tour is that it was very economical up front and then individual admission was purchased and could be tailored to your needs. So some of the more physical activities were able to be bypassed by members of our group and the admission price was saved. Also, the included lunch buffet was very hearty. Would highly recommend !

We had an amazing sunset...
We had an amazing sunset horse riding experience in Cappadocia! The team was very flexible with the pickup and start time, making sure we would be in the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. As first-time riders, we really appreciated how patient and supportive our guide was throughout the entire ride. The route through Red Valley was absolutely breathtaking, and we were treated to one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. The horses were well-trained, calm, and clearly very well cared for, which made us feel comfortable and safe. This was such a unique and unforgettable experience, combining Cappadocia’s stunning landscapes with the joy of horseback riding. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip!

Great experience. Driver...
Great experience. Driver was on time and courteous. I had to contact viator ahead of reservation since my hotel was slightly out of the pick up range, but once it was approved with the operator I made a reservation. You enter your flight times and the operator determines what time you will be picked up. We had 6am pickup for a 9:30am flight departure. It takes approximately 1 hour to drive to the Kayseri airport, so we had plenty of time to check-in and get a bite to eat before boarding. (Bring your own food, the airport food is extremely expensive!)

Cappadocia is famous for its horses—so much so that the word “Cappadocia” translates to “land of fine horses.” This rich cultural legacy makes Cappadocia horseback riding one of the best ways to explore the region. Traverse rugged volcanic terrain while soaking up views of the famous fairy chimneys of Love Valley and Monk Valley, or opt for a sunrise or sunset tour to see the dramatic landscape in its best light. Cappadocia horseback riding tours typically don’t require prior riding experience, making them an excellent option for most visitors.
