My flight got cancelled , and I am very disappointed that this company did not honor my price , this one and all companies there rise theirs price 3x and up to 5x for the same flight the next day, many desperate people paid crazies prices just to have the experience, I was about to over paid for a flight that is not really wordy that amount , one of the locals told me that he have done the flight and he told that is better to see the ballons taking off close to theirs launch zone and after that go to any of the many viewpoint in the area and let me tell you it was the best decision ever very beautiful experience, so my suggestion is no overpaid and use that money in something else.
PD: the same guy told me to that in summer is better because during that time you can fight for 40 to 60 Euros.
Companies should honor the price if the flight gets cancelled and they should stop playing with people's desires.

As previously informed, all balloon flights on 31.03.2026 were officially canceled by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority due to unsafe weather conditions. This decision applies to all companies in Cappadocia and is made strictly for safety reasons, entirely beyond any operator’s control.
Following the cancellation, we provided you with two clear options:
* To wait for a possible reschedule (subject to availability)
* To receive a full refund
We also communicated transparently that rescheduling could not be guaranteed due to operational limitations and availability conditions in the region. For this reason, we did not make any commitments that could not be fulfilled.
Regarding pricing, it is important to note that balloon prices in Cappadocia are highly dynamic and influenced by demand, operational constraints, and seasonal factors. After a full cancellation day, demand naturally increases across the region, which affects availability and pricing market-wide. This is not controlled by a single company, but rather a general industry dynamic.
In your case, your full refund has been processed as promised. From the beginning, our priority was to offer a fair, transparent, and reliable solution under circumstances that were beyond anyone’s control.
We also appreciate your suggestion about experiencing the balloons from the ground, this is indeed a beautiful alternative and we are glad you were still able to enjoy Cappadocia.

Picked up at time indicated the night before, with a short stop st s few other hotels. Small breakfast snack provided with juice and water. Lots of balloons! Tight quarters in basket with 30+ other people. Wife snd I got slightly seperated in adjacent compartment. Ask for a ladder if you need it to get out! Amazing experience! Same company as our cruise extension offerring at fraction of the price.

Tour was great. Agency cancelled twice due to weather but activity went ahead on the third morning of our trip.

Experience was brilliant. We both had a lovely time, from the time seeing balloon being inflated to full size to experiencing the flight. The experience was well worth the money. We had a very good time.
We were picked up from our hotel on time, taken to balloon site, where we watched the balloons being inflated. It's a team work and take a lot of effort in this as with landing. Landing part was also amazing, something new to watch the whole strong team get together for a safe landing. We were given a bag with light snack and a drink as it was a 5.50am pick up. As the balloon started to pick up it was an experience, to see lots of balloons in the sky and against the backdrop of snow capped Cappadocia and sunrise in the background.
On the whole it was an amazing experience. A must do in Cappadocia. The company we did this hot air balloon flight was skyway travel through viator UK. Staff at skyway travel were very friendly too.

Once in a lifetime experience.
We were worried as the balloons had been cancelled due to the snow and wind for the last 7-10 days but luckily our chosen day (2nd March) had clear blue skies.
A temperature of minus 6 meant that we would recommend a second pair of socks!
The crew were extremely friendly and helpful!

Pick up and drop off at your hotel … arrived at the site as the team was blowing up our balloon and they got us onboard and oof we went. The very competent pilot was fun and humorous and made his job look easy considering the very low and very high heights he took us on including the “Turkish kiss “ where 2 balloons can touch each other!
It was a sunny clear sky for us which made it all the more memorable. The landing was perfect and the celebrating with “champagne” was fun too. Bought a reasonably priced photo they took and received certificates as well.

We were told be ready by 6:30AM sharp for pickup and we were picked up at exactly 6:30 however the transport was a 12 person transport and we had to make allot of stops along the way and one particular stop was more than 20 minutes because the guests were late and the shuttle kept on waiting for them. As a result we arrived on site of takeoff more than 20 mins late and were one of the very last balloons to take off and missed the sunrise completely. The pilot was very experienced but the flight was supposed to be 1 hour and we were in the air only a total of 35 minutes. The flight seems very short and for almost 10-15 mins of the flight we were hovering couple of meters above the ground trying to dodge other balloons and other obstacles.
Was not my first flight and this one definitely seemed to lack operational organisation.
I am not clear on why this operator has gotten high rankings. The location is beautiful but this operator is not the best:

Amazing experience! All the team was super professional at all time, we had to wait 30 more minutes because the day was cloud and windy, but we were able to fly. Something important is that authorities decide that day if balloons can flight, it’s not operators fault. The experience was one of the best I’ve done.

If you’d like to go high, book this balloon. Because the company located Urgup so they can fly away from Goreme.
The company located in Goreme stays low because they don’t want away from there.
It was winter off season, so there was two customers including me. It was like an expensive private, so lucky.

Very sad. They cancelled our trip stating bad weather. We went there for 2 days and a night so unfortunately even though they offered us an alternative date we could not participate. We all were very sad as that is the reason we went to cappadocia in the first place.
