Highly recommend; even the daylight tour

We had the most amazing experience with Discovery Hot Air Balloon. The guide was wonderful and gave us a lot of information about the hot air balloon and where we were flying. I know it's weather contingent, but we had the most beautiful scenery during our balloon ride. We did the daylight ride and would still highly recommend that time of day. You do not miss much and it's typically a little bit cheaper. 28 people is a lot, but you are separated into cubes, so it's honestly not that bad for the price.

Amazing Sunset Ride

I would give this 6 stars if I could. Our guide was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The ride was spectacular and not just thr typical ride out and back. We rode through thr fairy cones and up into the mountains to a historic Christian church cave. I would recommend this ride to anyone. Even those with no riding experience.

Wonderful!

I was a little nervous because we were later than the other balloons taking off and actually thought I might have made a mistake and booked a very expensive balloon watching tour instead of a ride. I should not have worried. We were just one of the later balloons. Our pilot, Adem, was amazing. He took us low into canyons and soaring high. He even landed us directly onto the trailer-which I don't think is a common occurrence-he is just that confident of a pilot. This would not happen with most pilots so I would not expect to do this if I booked again, circumstances were just right. I do not like heights, but this was such a peaceful experience. Wonderful experience overall.

A must do experience while in Goreme

Definitely a must when in Goreme! I was very nervous to go on the hot air balloon ride with so many balloons going up at once but it was completely safe. The pilots are amazing on how they can control where they are going. You can't really feel the movements of the hot air balloon. You just sit back and enjoy the breathtaking views. From the pickup, breakfast in the morning, balloon ride, drinks after, and the drop-off at your hotel, this was an absolute must do.

Excellent service

Even though we did not take off in the balloon 🎈, the communication between us was excellent. They picked us up on time, we had breakfast on site, they told us that we cannot fly in the balloon, but we should wait until the authorities allow them to fly. We could not fly anyway due to weather conditions as it is not safe. We have requested a refund and they were prompt, it takes 5 days to receive the refund. We will try to fly next time we are in Cappadocia. Thank you Lord Ballons.

Just do it, you won't regret it

The communication was very good and the driver was even early to pick us up. The food before and after plus the drink was very good and we were well looked after. The experience was unbelievable and I would recommend to anyone that if you're considering a ride in a hot air balloon, do it in Cappadocia. The number of hot air balloons was incredible and the landscape was so different to other areas of the world. We felt incredibly safe and we were helped in and out of the balloons and we're close to 70. There was even a proposal whilst we were up in the air!

Highlight of my Cappadocia experience!

Highly recommend this company, they picked us up promptly at 4:50am and were well organized. Our Captain was very professional, and was still able to fill the experience with fun lighthearted moments. What a spectacular way to see Cappadocia, it was spectacular and a must do, and this company was great. Totally reccomend them.

Was really nice and unforgettable memory. They come and picked us up at our hotel,they take us to the starting point for the balloon flight. There was many balloons and we made many nice pictures,the flight went very smoothly and the landing too . Our pilot was Tahir Özasik , very nice and friendly guy had a good crew who always make sure we are safe. This is an out of this world experience! From landing in Keyseri, we had WhatsApp communication about pick up times and what’s expected from the tour company, Tour Mania. They were fab! The balloon experience wA something else and the pilot and whole team were just brilliant! It’s an experience we’ll never forget! So easy to book with confidence through Viator. Used it in New York a few years ago and again this time in Turkey and it can’t be faulted. Brill!

Fun and Entertaining

I’m delighted that I signed up for this dinner and entertainment show on my last night in Cappadocia. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience, where I could watch and learn about the local culture while simultaneously dancing on the dance floor as an audience member. My only issue was a girl from the Dominican Republic who sat next to me and was rude. She asked me if I was ‘solo’, which I found strange. Instead of asking me politely, she rudely told me that the table next to me was free and that her group of five wanted to sit together. I suggested that she move to another table, as I had already been seated there before she arrived. She sarcastically agreed to move, and she told me that I need for me to stand up, so she could switch places with me. One of her friends asked me where I was from, and she was from Belgium. It was indeed an awkward situation. I went up to my tour guide, Ozan, and asked him about the seating arrangement. I also mentioned the problem I had encountered. Ozan, offered me a seat at the last table next to him. He was incredibly friendly, funny, and engaging. He even invited me to join him in the dance floor. Towards the end of the show, we became friends, and I met other people, making some new friends along the way. I hope the groups understand that there are no seating arrangements. We’ll be seated as a group from various countries. If they’re uncomfortable with the idea of sitting with others, then this activity isn’t for them. I signed up for this experience to have fun, not to create any tensions.
