Absolutely a great introduction to Cape Town and the southern coast. Our guide, Petersen, was very enthusiastic about his love of the towns, people and scenery that make up the tour. Definitely a great idea for first time visitors like we were.

We had an absolutely wonderful time exploring Cape Point and taking in the beauty of Table Mountain! Seeing the penguins was such a delight, and the views from the top of the Cape of Good Hope were simply breathtaking. The scenic drive along Chapman’s Peak was another highlight—the views were incredible!
Although Table Mountain was closed due to the weather, we were taken to a beautiful viewing spot where we could still appreciate its magnificence. It truly is a marvel!
Our lunch stop at Cape Point Vineyards was the perfect treat. The food was absolutely amazing—definitely a 5/5! We highly recommend adding this stop to your tour.
A special shout-out to our driver, Gift, who was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He safely transported us to each stop and provided interesting background and information along the way. His friendly personality and excellent service made an already amazing day even better!

Although the tour was well organised, we felt the tour over promised on its itinerary. We booked this tour because of the range of things that it covered.
We missed the table mountain cable car due to wins and though this was not their fault, we still missed the winery due to insufficient time. If we were able to do the cable mountain cable then what else would have been missed?
In addition, the lunch spot was quite crowded and we ended up spending almost 1.5 hours there for everyone to eat, which took a lot of time.
Book this with the assumption that you will not cover everything in the itinerary.

It was advertised as a “private tour” however when they picked us up there were 21 people on this huge bus. The group was so large we only had time for half of the activities which advertised as part of the itinerary. Additionally the bus driver was driving so fast on the way back we bottomed out on the road after he passed a car on a narrow road, I was panicked. They also would not pick us up at the hotel we were staying at and we had to take an Uber to a hotel in a very rough area of downtown Cape Town. I recommend hiring a private driver versus putting life at risk on this tour.
We were able to explore the cape from top to bottom. Our guide, Ray, was able to make it easy for us to see all the sites in a convenient way. He also shared his love and knowledge of the area in a way that was fun and informative.

Grossly overpriced!! We asked for a refund as we found out the charged us for a private tour but we were on a shared bus. The tour guide was so annoying he made it even worse. Would not reccomend!! Better off hiring your own personal driver to take you around to your top spots. I wish we did that

This is an excellent tour, and a big part of what made it special was our guide, Clemente. He was warm and friendly, and it was clear he has a deep knowledge of South African history and of every site we visited. At each stop he had something interesting to share about the place and why it matters historically, so we came away having genuinely learned a lot. We were a group of ten, which we really enjoyed — it gave us the chance to chat with the others and swap travel stories along the way.
One thing worth knowing if you’re booking: because the tour packs many landmarks into a single day, it moves at a brisk pace. Each stop has a set amount of time before you head to the next one, so you do need to keep an eye on the schedule. That’s not a good or bad thing in itself — just something to be aware of. If you’re after a more flexible, leisurely day, this might not be the ideal format. In our case, we had only a short time in Cape Town, so it was perfect: we got to see all the most important highlights in one well-organized day.
If that’s what you’re looking for, this tour delivers 100%. We thought it was great and would happily recommend it.

Don't forget, all-inclusive does not include the tickets you need to see the Cape, the penguins, or Table Mountain. Do not buy Table Mountain tickets until the morning of the tour. If the mountain is covered with clouds, you're not going and if you bought tickets in advance like they tell you to do, you're going to spend time getting a refund.
Our guide, Martin, was superb! It's really sad to see people are TOO CHEAP to give your guide just $5 or $10 for a job WELL DONE. We were the only couple in the entire group to tip him. I guess the $20 they spent on lunch just broke the bank. PATHETIC.
It was a day well spent. Now to get that refund.

Entrance fees for attractions such as Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope National Park, and Boulders Beach penguin colony are not included in the standard tour package unless specifically stated. This is because some attractions require pre-purchased tickets, while others are weather-dependent.
In particular, Table Mountain cableway tickets should only be purchased on the morning of the tour, once weather conditions have been confirmed by the guide. As you correctly noted, the mountain is subject to sudden cloud cover or wind closures, and purchasing tickets too far in advance can sometimes result in unnecessary inconvenience if the cableway is not operating.
Regarding tipping, gratuities are entirely optional and are never required. However, we do greatly appreciate your recognition of our guides’ efforts, as they work hard to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.

The excursion was good but.. the trip we had wasn’t as it was in the description, in some places we didn’t stop or got the chance to see because we drove by. We didn’t see Noordhoek only by car we didn’t even driver trough muizenberg. Like it was not in the tour, that was not on our route. We didn’t get a stop at houtbaay and also didn’t see any vineyard so didn’t got a change of a wine tasting or going to a seal island.. we were back in less then 8 hours . Yes Isaac was a great guide and the group didn’t complain but I think it’s not worth the extra money compared to other travelagents that not saying their are going to these places because we did not see them ..

We booked a day tour in Cape Town through Viator who contracted this agency and my experience was not the best.
The main issue was the seating on the bus and their seating policy. We were picked up last and had the worst seat, with no views, for a 16 person tour and we had to keep these seats do the entire duration of the trip. That sucked. The guide was also not compassionate and that created a lot of tension between the passengers. I reached out to management but no assistance from them.
Besides that, the tour itself did what it was supposed to do; show us the main attractions of Cape Town but beware of this seating policy because if you are seated in the back - you may not be with your partner and there are zero views.

Nice comprehensive overview of all the Cape Town spots to visit. This is a great tour if you are trying to fit a lot in a short amount of time. You don’t get a ton of time at each location, but just enough to experience what Cape Town has to offer.

We did the private VIP tour and would highly recommend it. Our driver was Gift and he was polite, professional and knowledgeable, and he collected us on time in a clean, comfortable vehicle. As a private tour, we were able to be flexible with where we went and how long we spent at each attraction, giving us a more tailored experience. The fast track at Table Mountain was especially beneficial. Overall, an excellent tour and I'd particularly recommend it for those with only a short time in Cape Town, or if you want to get a good overview of most of the main attractions that the city has to offer.
Table mountain was absolutely stunning well worth aI visit.
The Cape of Good Hope was fantastic too we did the 30 minute walk across from the lighthouse quite easy going until the decent to the car park I don’t like walking down steep steps/slopes.
Bolder beach was good too but far too hot to just stand n look at the penguins.

Did not like the personalties of guide and driver. The guide hardly offered any histories. The driver did a good job of driving but was too loud and boisterous. The tour was too long.. Thought it would be 8 hours and it ended up being 12 hours. They packed too much in in one day and we spent more time at stops than needed.

Unfortunately, the tour fell short of what was advertised. While pickup was scheduled between 7:00 and 7:20 AM, the van only arrived at 7:45 AM—and only after I sent a complaint via WhatsApp. Of the 15 items listed in the itinerary, we completed just 10. Additionally, despite the promise of skip-the-line access at the Table Mountain cable car, we waited in queue for 70 minutes. The one bright spot was our guide Sylvie, who was both personable and knowledgeable.

Let me address your points one by one:
⏰ Pick-up delay
Our shared and mixed-option tours operate with a pick-up window because we collect guests from multiple hotels across central Cape Town. That window is normally 7:00–7:45 AM, depending on traffic and routing for the day.
That said, you should never feel uncertain about whether your vehicle is coming. Even if your actual pick-up time falls toward the end of the window, our team must communicate clearly and proactively. I apologise that you felt the need to message via WhatsApp before receiving reassurance – we are already reinforcing with our operations team the need to:
Send more precise pick-up estimates the day before, and
Proactively update guests via WhatsApp if we are running toward the later end of the window or delayed by traffic 🚐
📍 Itinerary items (15 vs 10)
Our Cape Peninsula and Table Mountain itinerary is designed to be ambitious but realistic. On busy days, roadworks, traffic, weather conditions at Table Mountain or longer-than-usual queues can affect how many short scenic stops (photo viewpoints, brief lookouts, etc.) we can safely include while still covering the core highlights:

It sounds like on your travel day, we had to prioritise the main attractions and reduce some of the shorter “extra” stops in order not to return unreasonably late. Even so, if you felt that the number of completed items was not clearly explained, that is on us. We’ll be reviewing how we present the itinerary online so that guests clearly see which stops are guaranteed core highlights and which are time-permitting extras.
🎫 “Skip-the-line” at Table Mountain
Thank you for raising this – it’s an important clarification for future guests.
1️⃣ What we can control:
For private tour options only, we purchase pre-booked / priority tickets in advance so you don’t stand in the ticket-purchase line. This is often referred to in industry language as “skip-the-line” for the ticket office.
2️⃣ What we cannot control:
All visitors, including those with pre-booked tickets, must still pass through security checks and board the cable car in order of arrival. On peak days (holidays, cruise-ship days, perfect weather after closure, etc.), this boarding queue alone can unfortunately stretch beyond an hour – even for guests holding advance tickets.
3️⃣ Your specific booking & expectations:
On our Viator listing, multiple options are grouped together under one main title.
The **true “skip-the-line / fast-track” benefit applies only to our fully private tour option with the upgraded ticket package.
Shared small-group options do not include a fast-track upgrade and are subject to the normal boarding queues once tickets are issued.
From your review, it seems there may have been a misunderstanding between the headline wording on the platform and the actual option booked. For that, I sincerely apologise. We are in the process of tightening our wording and clarifying this distinction with Viator so that:
Only the correct private option shows “skip-the-line/priority ticket” language, and
Shared small-group options clearly indicate that queues at Table Mountain are still possible, even with advance ticket support.

Excellent tour, taking in all the magnificent scenery around Cape Town and beyond. Our guide Nomasakhane was wonderful, adjusting the tour to make the most of the weather. She was very informative, providing plenty of time at each stop to take in the sights. I highly recommend this tour.
Our guide Noma was excellent. We enjoyed the entire day, with the drive along Houts Bay on Chapmans Drive a high point. The Cape is awesome. Only downside was the wind, that was so strong that we couldn’t use the cable car to Table Mountain, but Noma was very upfront with the possibility. Great service.
