If you are ever in Cape Town, you have to do this! It was truly an experience. The food was absolutely delicious. I truly have no complaints about any of the dishes served because each of them were delicious and their unique way. My drink was also amazing! The interactive drumming was fun, and the face painting was absolutely stunning! The staff in general, just really made sure that you felt comfortable and had a good time!

Definitely a great experience. A must do if you are staying over in Cape Town. The drumming was a wonderful experience. As for the food, simply delicious. Dishes made from different regions in Africa. The ambiance was great for setting the scene and staff were welcoming and helpful. The evening went so quickly. Booking is a must if you want to be close to the stage and have a seat in the main area. Well worth it.

The dinner and show at the GOLD restaurant was fantastic. It was awesome to sample so many different beautifully prepared dishes, and the energetic performances were top notch. However, I would NOT book this experience through Viator again. Instead, I'd book directly to simplify the proceedings. There was quite a bit of confusion regarding my booking. I'd booked a transfer to/from the venue. However, the driver showed up only after the receptionist contacted the tour company. This meant that I arrived at the restaurant when most of the interactive drumming was already over; something I'd explicitly paid for. In addition, my voucher clearly stated that only alcoholic beverages were chargeable. Yet, that also turned out to be false. Then, the restaurant was under the impression that I'd paid for two pax, when I was travelling solo. This has left me wondering whether I actually paid more than I should have. In sum, I'd highly recommend the dinner & drumming event, but I wouldn't book through Viator.

Amazing dinner and drumming! Such a fun night with a small group of friends. Food was great and entertainment was so good. Loved the place and the staff was very friendly. African Day tours was a big help in adding guests last minute and adding pick ups so this was a huge help to have a fun last night in Capetown.

If you are visiting Capetown, this is a must to see. We were picked up at the hotel and picked up after the show. This drumming show was absolutely wonderful. Lots of drumming, singing and dancing. Energetic cast. A terrific excursion. Not to be missed!

What a wonderful experience, I can not emphasize how much fun it was!! The music, the food, and the service were all top notch. A special bonus was the face painting and even hair wraps for guests. This is a guaranteed memorable evening that I highly recommend checking out!!

Great venue & welcome. As a couple of friends, we were seated on the balcony which was great to see the restaurant from above & have good view of the stage and entertainment. The dancers & singers even came up on the balcony during performances. We all had a drum each & were involved from the outset. We also had our faces painted which was a nice touch. 14 courses of African food, this was delicious & so varied. Drinks are extra but very reasonable. Great night overall & performers were amazing. Booked with transfers included. However he was late and we found out the restaurant was 5 to 10 mins walk from where we were staying. But overall a great night.

This was ahhmazing. We landed on Thursday morning, checked into our hotel, relaxed and booked this for our dinner experience. Noland was a great guide and even agreed to transport attendees back to their hotels, as needed. This was super convenient for those who didn’t want to stay for the whole show. The food was great, activities were great, overall awesome experience.

We really enjoyed the African Dinner and Drum experience. We were given our own drums and participated in a group drumming jam, it was so much fun. We loved the 14 course meal and experiencing such unique cuisine. The servers, dancers and performers were all amazing people and exhibited such talent and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this experience if you get the chance, and come hungry!
