Nice Relaxing Trip to Alexandria
We had a grand time! We were picked up in a nice and air conditioned car with an extremely friendly and helpful driver. We then took a 2.5 hour drive to Alexandria and our driver was pointing out all the sights to us.
When we arrived at our first point, we met our guide, Shari. She was also very nice and gave us some history on each stop. She kept a nice pace too … not rushed, but not lingering either. She also was very nice with the picture taking at each sight. Finally, we had a nice fish lunch in a restaurant overlooking the Citadel before heading back to the hotel.
We’d highly recommend this tour!

Perfect Day Trip to Alexandria from Cairo
If you only have one day available, this tour is an excellent way to experience Alexandria. It’s a full day with about four hours of sightseeing in the city, making it perfect for travelers who want a great introduction without staying overnight.
The itinerary included the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the impressive Roman Amphitheater, where the acoustics are remarkable, the stunning Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Each stop offered something unique and helped us appreciate the city’s incredible history.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and our driver was outstanding. Although he didn’t speak English, we were able to communicate using Google Translate whenever needed. It worked well for us, but if having direct communication with your driver is important, it’s something to keep in mind.
One of the highlights of the day was lunch. I asked if we could have seafood, and the guide took us to a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. The food, the view, and the atmosphere made for a memorable experience.
The drive from Cairo takes about three hours each way, but the highways felt safe and well maintained. If this is your first time in Egypt, don’t be surprised by the local driving style or by how people cross the streets—it’s simply different from what many visitors may be used to. The good news is that you can relax and enjoy the scenery while someone else does the driving.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour. It offers a great balance of history, culture, beautiful scenery, and excellent food, making it a fantastic introduction to Alexandria for first-time visitors.

An Excellent way to spend a day in Eygpt
This was an Excellent tour and I would highly recommend! Hazem our tour guide was friendly, informative, and organized every detail for us. His descriptions of the history and ancient sites were detailed and fascinating. Our driver Hesham was kind and accommodating, as well.
I really wanted to go into a Pyramid he recommended going into the Bent Pyramid (Amazing choice) so worth exploring. Hazem even gave us the option of a few stops, including the Nile Carpet School which was very interesting. We felt like we were walking and talking with a friend the whole time. He shared his culture and country with pride and professionalism, and we enjoyed the tour very much. Also, be sure to get the Egyptian street food lunch he offers on the tour, as it was very authentic and delicious (probably the best lunch we had on our entire trip!). I Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo.

Great Experience!
I had a great experience with this company! They communicated with me prior to pick up. At the airport, my driver was waiting for me with a sign with my name, once I stepped outside of the terminal. The driver carried my bag to the car and drove me safely to the hotel.

We booked a car ride and...
We booked a car ride and it was better than expected. Hesham Zyzo was our driver and he was so genuine, kind and knowledgeable. He was on time and never made us hurry or wait. We were glad to spent time with him. He was so kind he bought us food and water. He also chatted with us in a cafe. Whoever met him in his life is lucky :)

Great tour of Coptic Christian history in Cairo
Hazem was an excellent, friendly guide who taught me a great deal about Coptic history in Old Cairo. I learned about the Holy Family's stay in Egypt, and about other historical events in different Christian communities. I was given as much time as I needed to explore and to take photos, and I never felt rushed.
The only thing we didn't see was the Synagogue Ben Ezra, which was advertised in the Itinerary section of the Viator page. However, it is not in the Overview section, so maybe there is a miscommunication between the tour compan(ies) and Viator. I honestly forgot about it until afterward, and I don't believe that my guide was aware, so I don't want to fault him for it.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience! Thank you Hazem!

Great Tour
Our guide Bishoy was absolutely amazing (professional, knowledgable, informative, kind) and this tour was a wonderful way to begin our trip to Egypt! We experienced authentic Egyptian essence perfume; learned about making paper and had our names written using ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics; shopped for jewelry and t-shirts; and visited a spice shop. We ended our tour enjoying delicious Koshary, Egypt's national dish. Many thanks to Bishoy and we absolutely recommend this tour to future travelers!

Excellent and dependable
We had an excellent experience with our airport transfer. From the moment we landed, everything was seamless. Our driver (Alaa)was on time, waiting for us right at the arrival gate with a friendly smile and new us instantly from our picture. The vehicle was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the ride to our hotel was smooth and relaxing after a long flight.

Perfect tour during a long layover!
What a great way to see Cairo during a layover! Landed at around 6 a.m., got our visa (NOTE: if you’re flying EgyptAir, they offered a free visa at the EgyptAir Transit Office, which is on the right as you make your way towards passport control, instead of paying one of the banks), then we went outside to meet our guide. The exit of the airport is chaos but we found our tour guide, Mahmoud Hoka, pretty quickly and we were on our way! Mahmoud and our driver, Amr, were fantastic. We headed straight to the pyramids, got some great pictures, had a camel ride, walked around and went to the Sphinx. We then went to a couple stores (no real pressure to buy anything, but we got some stuff), had lunch, then finished at the museum to see the King Tut exhibit). And then Amr got us back to the airport in time for our connecting flight. We can fully recommend this tour and our guide. Thanks for the unforgettable day!

Safe, easy, affordable ride from Cairo Airport
Our driver was friendly and prompt. He also helped us locate my husband who landed in a different terminal than me. Note - there will be two “drivers” in the car for this one. There was a person driving and a second person coordinating with me and chatting us up during the drive. Make sure to tip both people.

Important sites in a day
Mohammad our tour guide was excellent. He was very pleasant and took good care of my friend and I ensuring we got the best pictures we could possibly get. He also took the pictures from the perfect angles to get the funny shots against the visuals of the Pyramids and Sphinx. He gave us a lot of informative information too. Highly recommend this tour!
