A Fascinating Journey through Cairo's Rich History

We had an excellent tour of historic Cairo and highly recommend it. Our driver, Maged, was professional, courteous, and made getting around the busy city feel effortless. Our guide, Ahmed, was outstanding. His knowledge of Egypt’s history, religion, and culture was truly impressive, and he brought every stop to life with fascinating stories and context. Visiting the churches, historic synagogue, magnificent mosques, and the famous market gave us a much deeper understanding of Cairo’s rich history and the diverse religious and cultural influences that have shaped the city over thousands of years. Ahmed’s passion for sharing that history made the experience incredibly educational as well as enjoyable. Ahmed was also very accommodating, making sure we had time for photos, questions, and anything else we needed throughout the day, while Maged ensured we traveled comfortably and safely between each stop. This tour was a wonderful way to experience a different side of Cairo beyond the pyramids. We left with a far greater appreciation for the city’s incredible history and culture. Best travel decision!

This was one of the best travel decisions I made on my trip! Arriving in the middle of the night , it was so comforting to be met in the airport by such a kind gentleman welcoming me and guiding me through customs baggage. He handled all of my luggage and delivered me safely to my hotel. I could not have asked for better service!

See the Pyramids with this Tour

You get up close and personal to the pyramids. You get a great history lesson at the museum. Food was amazing and bargains at the bazaar were great too. Hassan was an excellent tour guide. He gives you just enough about each site and gives you time to explore yourselves. Our tour was a private one so our driver always had the car available, nice and cool.

Hana was an amazing tour guide and body guard. From the minute we got in the car she started testing us which made us laugh throughout the evening. She took us to some great spots and them a quick bite before returning to our hotel. We took her advice and booked every tour she said we would like and we sure did.

Excellent tour!

I'm so glad I booked this tour, the whole process from booking and coordination until dropoff was hassle-free! First of all, I was in a bit of a time crunch so I mentioned that I cannot handle any delays, and as discussed pickup was on time. Pickup and dropoff is available from your hotel, which is really convenient! I'm especially thankful for Ahmed, my driver, who was friendly and flexible enough to fit my needs and interests. He also knew about the history and shared interesting facts along the journey. It was good to have someone to drive you around, I'm not new to solo traveling but I see now that it would have been difficult to find my way back to Cairo if I had just relied on Ubers. Towards the end of the tour we really bonded and he was even telling me about his family :)) <3 p.s: i see in some reviews that they were FORCED to visit shops and restaurants, but this was not the case for me. I simply said that I'm not interested.

An Excellent way to spend a day in Eygpt

This was an Excellent tour and I would highly recommend! Hazem our tour guide was friendly, informative, and organized every detail for us. His descriptions of the history and ancient sites were detailed and fascinating. Our driver Hesham was kind and accommodating, as well. I really wanted to go into a Pyramid he recommended going into the Bent Pyramid (Amazing choice) so worth exploring. Hazem even gave us the option of a few stops, including the Nile Carpet School which was very interesting. We felt like we were walking and talking with a friend the whole time. He shared his culture and country with pride and professionalism, and we enjoyed the tour very much. Also, be sure to get the Egyptian street food lunch he offers on the tour, as it was very authentic and delicious (probably the best lunch we had on our entire trip!). I Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo.

Amazing time in Alexandria!

We had such a wonderful day trip to Alexandria with Karim and our driver Ahmet. Everything was organised perfectly from pickup to drop-off, and the whole experience felt comfortable, fun, and full of fascinating history. Karim was an excellent Egyptologist guide ,incredibly knowledgeable, clever, funny, and passionate about Alexandria’s Greek, Roman, and Egyptian history. He explained everything in such an interesting and easy way and showed us both the beautiful modern side of Alexandria and the deeper historical and cultural side too. As Albanians living in Britain, we especially loved hearing the historical connections he shared with us. We visited Montaza Palace, Saint Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, the Catacombs, and many other amazing places. Lunch was lovely, the transport was comfortable, and Ahmet was so patient, kind, and friendly throughout the day. Our group included people from America, Germany, China, and the UK, and Karim made everyone feel included and welcomed. We learned so much while laughing all day. Truly one of the best tour experiences we’ve ever had in Egypt. Highly recommended!

I dropped a request to do this tour with them with 36 hours notice, after having my tour cancelled at the last minute with another company, and they pulled off the arrangements with ease. Outstanding. The tour itself was full-on and well worth the effort of the long day. The tour guide, Mahmoud Oraby, was a veritable font of knowledge, and unobtrusive in his approach. Thankyou, you made our day. The driver, Mohammed, was punctual and professional. We will definitely be back to Luxor, and we have some wonderful memories thanks to this company and it staff. Our Guide Made Our Arrival to Cairo an Easy Experience!

After traveling 16 hours from San Diego to Cairo and landing at 4:30am, we don’t know how we would have managed navigating our arrival without our Viator guide. Sorry I can’t remember his name - hoping Viator can fill in that blank. He was waiting for us when we got off the plane and greeted us warmly. First thing, he took us to get our VISAs - very easy, with his help. He contacted our hotel asking if they could accommodate us ASAP. Otherwise, we’d have to wait until our room was ready at 3:00! He efficiently collected our bags and introduced us to our driver and we were on our way! Excellent service and a very wise choice to hire a local for this service!
