Don’t Miss This Tour
Very, very interesting. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very well prepared. I highly recommend this tour. It brings to light, the experiences of the Romanian people under Communism and it leaves you with a heartfelt appreciation for the people who lived through the challenging Communist era.

Great Experience.
After a discussion with our guide Beatrice we had already done Constanta and the Black Sea on the cruise ship we had just left and being extremely creative Beatrice decided we should see some of the mountains. She took us to Snow Island and to Peles Castle (?) which we absolutely loved. We had a delicious meal in a local restaurant which she highly recommended and saw the monastery’s which we found very interesting. We found that Beatrice’s knowledge of the area and Bucharest was extensive, she was delightful company and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day in her company. I could not recommend her more highly.

Fascinating day down a salt mine
It was an early start but I’m glad that we went on this day trip. It took about two hours to get to the mine on the mini bus. We stopped once at a convenience station on the way where you could go to the loo or get something to eat. The mine itself was fascinating. You are driven all the way down to it in a tunnel. No need for hard hats or gear etc. You are then pretty much delivered in the main tourist gallery of the mine which is huge. The ceiling is at least 50 metres high so not the claustrophobic experience you might imagine in a mine. The colours were amazing. You can do a lot of walking around and there is a cafe where some pizzas are available etc. The cafe was not extensive but perfectly fine. There is a good amount of time to walk about, eat and relax in the mine and then it was time to go back up to the surface, buy some souvenirs and salt and then go back on the bus (there was no stop on the way back). For me and my wife it was an interesting and novel day out as we had never been down a salt mine before. One of our group had already been down a salt mine and was slightly disappointed.

As a fan of old school...
As a fan of old school Dracula travelling through the Carpathian Moutaina and walking Bran Castle was an absolute dream
(Spoiler I know Bram Stoker was never actually there and neither was Vlad Tepes. But the pure inspiration!) Definitely recommend this tour.

Highly Recommended Walking Tour
Thank you to Lucia for the excellent walking tour! Lucia was a warm, friendly and very knowledgeable guide as we explored Bucharest. She not only showed us famous landmarks, she clearly explained the significance of each through entertaining stories and her wonderful sense of humour. She also generously shared many recommendations for other landmarks and restaurants to visit.

Something different.
Șeban Riga our driver was very funny and awesome....traffic is horrible there and back....sites were amazings...My wife and I enjoyed the town of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria...we skipped the palace tour and walked the whole town, there are a lot of eating options, don't be afraid to try it. Our weather was perfect SUNNY with a little breeze....I would recommend it, if you have the time. Our original date of the tour was canceled, because we were the only ones signed up for it. But they offered a different date, which we were free from other tours, I can undertand why you need at least 4 or more people for this tour. We managed to get back in a reasonable time to Bucharest as we had an early flight the next day. Long day but worth it.

Great tour
Our guide was Gabriel and he did a great job. He was informative, nice and professional. He took us to Bulgaria where we saw fantastic ruins, a monastery and some churches. We had plenty of time to wander on our own in Tarnovo where the food was great and there were many places to shop. 10/10.

A safe, reliable, easy option for getting to and from the airport in Bucharest.
I booked cars from and to the airport at either end of my trip to Bucharest. The drivers were early both times, and got me safely to and from my hotel. It was such a comfort to not have to worry about finding a train or arranging an Uber, especially for my early morning flight out of Romania. I highly recommend this service!

Rosanna’s tours are wonderful, informative, funny and excellent driving!
This is a long tour so be prepared to be in the van a lot. However, the views are spectacular. No bears on our trip sadly as they are now hibernating but the tour was wonderful anyway. Our driver Rosanna was lovely, she is a very good driver and tells you lots about the history of the places you visit. The views in the mountains are wonderful. We had some great food (paid for separately), but enjoyed a comfortable ride with lots of views and tours of churches etc. Wonderful waterfalls in the mountains and the Dam was incredible. Rosanna has a great sense of humour and really deserves lots of praise. Highly recommend

An unforgettable night in Bucharest😁
Our guides, Katy, Andreea and Carmen, were absolute stars. Their energy and friendliness made the night not just fun, but truly special. They made everyone feel welcome, kept the group hyped, and ensured that everyone had a safe and exciting time.
You get welcome shots,, and tons of laughs. It’s not just about drinking – it’s about connecting, dancing, and soaking in the vibrant energy of Bucharest.
Whether you’re solo or with a group, this is hands down one of the best ways to experience the city's nightlife. Huge thanks to Andreea, Katy and Carmen for making the night so amazing – I’d do it again in a heartbeat! 🥳💃
Highly recommend – 10/10!

Good trip
Be prepared for a very long day. Long drive and limited time so no messing about. Temperature about 6-7 degrees lower. The guide was good and helpful, bus clean. There was no toilet on the bus but guide arranges all so no preasure. The only dissapointment was not visiting Peles Cartle but Pelesor instead as tickets was sold out. Strongly suggest to by ticket un advance. Guide provided all information on the way so do not expect guided tour inside castles. I enjoed visiting both castles Pelesor and Bran. Brasov beautiful small town. Returned very tired but happy.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Bucharest is a vibrant capital that boasts lively neighborhoods, grand architecture, and a strong connection to Romanian history and folklore. Bucharest day trips often take you beyond the city, with guided tours to landmarks such as Bran Castle—also known as Dracula’s Castle—and the medieval town of Brașov. Other options include food and wine tastings, pub crawls through the Old Town, or day hikes in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. Considering the depth of culture and nature you’ll find in and outside of Bucharest, these tours are not to be missed.
