One of a kind in the dark side of Romania
It was thrilling getting to know about stories, traditions and myths of Romanian ghosts, superstitions and witchcraft. Our host, Ali, was patient and informative, most of all engaging. She welcomed every question and provided meticulous insights on the stories as she highlighted skillfully each aspect of the stories. Would recommend it definitely to everyone interested in spooky, scary, dark side of Romania.

Wonderful experience. Matthias our guide was great
Absolutely wonderful. Lots of history lessons and our guide, Matthias, made sure we all felt welcomed and we were in business safely after each stop. He even helped a few of us who didn’t have tickets to enter castle find tickets. His welcoming nature made our Romanian vacation worthwhile. Our guide spoke like 5 languages everyone was impressed. We loved Romania and hope to return someday soon. Wonderful country , people and great guide.

Rain or shine this tour is worth it!
Our tour guide was very detailed and passionate about sharing the Communism knowledge. I walked away with not only a better understanding of life under communism but got to see some cool things around the city—despite the heavy initial downpour the guide kept us safe and kept on with the tour. Tudor was AMAZING!!

Bucharest is a vibrant capital that boasts lively neighborhoods, grand architecture, and a strong connection to Romanian history and folklore. Bucharest day trips often take you beyond the city, with guided tours to landmarks such as Bran Castle—also known as Dracula’s Castle—and the medieval town of Brașov. Other options include food and wine tastings, pub crawls through the Old Town, or day hikes in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. Considering the depth of culture and nature you’ll find in and outside of Bucharest, these tours are not to be missed.
