What are people saying about Bologna

Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class
My wife, Emma, and I really enjoyed this cooking class in Bologna. We were shown how to make tiramisu, tortellini and tagliatelle, with prosecco and wine provided along the way. After a demonstration from our guide, Luca, we got stuck in and then, of course, got to eat everything we’d made. The atmosphere was really fun and friendly, and Luca was a great host. He was very entertaining and made the whole experience feel relaxed rather than like a formal cooking lesson. We were also lucky enough to be paired with a couple of Americans who were both also called Emma, and they were absolutely delightful company! The only slight downside was that it was quite tight around the table with everyone working together, and being tall, I found it a little awkward at times. In the end, though, we were having such a good time that it really didn’t matter. A fun, sociable and very tasty way to spend a few hours in Bologna. 8/10.

Ricardo is the "KING" of tour guides in BOLIGNA. He extracts such stories and information out of the "walls" of the city
One of the most complete and in depth presentations from Ricardo that I have had EVER! He is prepared, passionate, focused and has a great sense of humor. This man studies his history. He could be termed a Renaissance man in his knowledge base and varied topics with which he very well- versed. He is able to "extract" so much from the architecture, art, history and food. If you think 6-7 hours is too long, let me say... it seemed like it was over in a flash! Ricardo made a point to point out hidden gems that speak volumes in and of themselves about Bologna's status and purpose throughout the "periods" in history. He fielded questions and made sure we had plenty of time to see it all. We were 4 women, with various orthopedic hindrances, but he kept the pace perfect. His comment about this city of Bologna rang in my ears.... "there is not another city that has maintained the number of towers, buildings, churches from as far back as 1079 to today. We were literally walking among "Dinosaurs" if you will. No, the buildings don't date back to dinosaurs, but the architecture is some of the oldest in the world, and still being used for everyday life and business. All of it seen within a 6-7 day including lunch, tea/coffee break and bathroom breaks. But wait, tgere is more..... Ricardo did save the BEST FOR LAST... I don't want to spoil it,but I got "goose bumbs" and was moved to tears. You will not find a better tour than this. Bologna is an amazing and endearing town, made more incredible by a man who respects it's history and marvels. Ricardo....."DON'T CHANGE A THING", you are not the "Count" of the tourguide world in Bologna, you are the "KING"!

Great Social Activity!
The sociableness of the class was a true highlight! We had a great group of attendees and were able to swap travel tips and suggestions throughout the class. The instructors, Katarina and Felipe, were so friendly and helpful and the pasta we made was delicious!

Great way to explore Bologna
This tour was so much fun! Our guide Sara was knowledgeable about the history of Bologna and the foods of the region. She did a great job guiding us through the streets and telling us all about the history of this very cool city. We had a great time and highly recommend the tour!

Often hailed as the culinary capital of Italy, Bologna is also the dream for car enthusiasts. Bologna tours offer your stereotypical sightseeing and a behind-the-scenes look at the factories and farms that produce everything from Ferraris and Lamborghinis to balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese. Fill your itinerary with museum visits, test drives, cooking classes, and tastings. Whether by foot, tongue, or US$250,000 sports car, Bologna tours are the best way to experience northern Italy.
