Great trip with unique stops that made for good variability and a true feeling of experiencing the area

We had more fun than expected on this trip! The tour guide and the group of people that went with us made the experience very enjoyable. And the activities we did were each different so we felt like we got to do a lot of different stuff in one trip, and really experience the area. The Parmesan Factory was really interesting and it was fun to be so close to the process. Then we did a balsamic tasting and learned a lot about the way true balsamic artisans make the product. Next was a unique wine tour where we learned all about the local wine. It was extra interesting because we got to taste multiple samples of the same grape that were made into different wines so it really helped us understand the impacts of the process. It all culminated in a fun lunch with authentic food and more wine. We loved each spot that we visited so much so we bought something from each stop. We would highly recommend this to anyone staying in the area. We even made it a day trip and took the train early that morning from Florence!

Giancarlo was our host...

Giancarlo was our host and did an incredible job keeping us on time while allowing us to visit these luxury car places. Upon request, he was able to also arrange a Ferrari 458 driving experience...for me. Dinner was included and delicious. Lamborghini plant tour, Ferrari museum tour, and a Pagoni plant tour. All were very unique and different. Highly recommend for all car enthusiasts but my wife also enjoyed the tours. Greg and Shelley

Lucia and Jaya were our hosts and instructors. They were very organized, knowledgeable, and patient with our group. We will never buy store bought pasta again. Although we did not make the ragu, they shared the ingredients and plan to send us the recipes. Fun family activity

A really fun few hours with the great host Luca who was a really friendly and engaging activity leader. It was lovely to come away with recipes to have an attempt at home. Great to make our own lunch which was delicious with a very generous selection of drinks included. Great value with food and drink included and we were not rushed - probably nearer 4 hours in total.

Absolutely Fabulous!!

What a wonderful day full of once in a lifetime experiences and fantastic food. Yes...it's an early start but completely worth it. My wife and I loved every stop. When they say breakfast and lunch, they aren't talking just pastries and sandwiches...it is a journey for the palette. Definitely recommend if you are visiting and have the time.

What a fantastic way to get introduced to Bologna, through food and history. We made four stops throughout the old town for way larger than expected dishes - definitely a full meal. We sampled tortellini, tagliatelle, tigella, and ⁠cotoletta. We walked, learned amazing stories, and interesting history by our fantastic guide Valentina G. She was personable, professional, informed, and delightful. She gave great tips and recommendations and brought the dishes to life with stories and images from her family! Highly recommend!

We had such a fun time. Roberta was a fantastic guide and we learned so much about the food of Bologna and Moderna. We had a lovely diverse group of fellow travellers and made some lasting friendships. We got to try all the delicious popular dishes and we had some amazing wines. Great tour!

This was a super fun experience. Learning about the parmesan making process was quite interesting and sampling it was even better. I believe our tour guide was Mariana and she was great. We even got to see some of their white cows. Learning about the balsamic vinegar making process was also enlightening. There's a lot more that goes into it than what may think and the property was beautiful. For those that enjoy cars, specifically ferraris, they'll find the museum fascinating.

Superb day

We had our own transportation. It was an amazing tour , each leg of the experience was outstanding! Stefania did an incredible job at the parmigiana farm . Chiara was such a great , knowledgeable hostess at Giacobazzi winery . Next , the visit at the balsamic vinegar place along with the tasting and the lunch was unbelievable! All deserves five stars . Lastly , the Ferrari Museum in Marranelo was the icing on the cake . Loved the entire day !

This trip/ tour was worth every single penny. Luca picked us up and we stopped at a parmesean cheese farm and saw how it was made. Our next stop was a meat factory with so much prosciutto. We got to eat a variety of different meat & drink Lambrusco! Our last stop was my favorite - a balsamic vinegar farm. This tour was perfect - probably my favorite thing I’ve ever done.

Fantastic Class for Lasagna and Gelato

Our cooking class making lasagna and gelato with Monia was fantastic. She explained each step very well, and was happy to assist when we needed assistance or had any questions. We were only in Bologna for one day, but we would definitely take another class with her. Also, we are excited to take the recipes home to make the again.
