Excellent excursion from Bilbao

This was a really interesting excursion, combining a very scenic walk to Dragonstone, visits to 3 interesting villages and rounded off with a wine tasting. The tour was well organised and our guide Pedro really enhanced the experience with his knowledge of the history and customs of the region and his delivery was engaging and interesting. Our driver was great too and made it look easy! Would definitely recommend this tour, worth the money.

Great time!

What a great trip! Our guide was knowledgeble and fun! It was nice to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The hike to Dragonstone was a fun challenge with beautiful views. The trip to the seaside port of Mundaka was a nice way to relax, have a drink and some pintxos! Visiting Gernika, seeing Picasso's artwork and hearing the history of the piece was very moving. I would highly recommend this trip :-)

What a fun few hours! We visited 5 bars, had 5 drinks and 10 pintxos! Ire was a fun, fantastic, energetic and knowledgeable guide! The food was delicious! Ire talked about the history of the food, drinks and the Basque region! She also gave restuaurant and toher activity recommendations. If you want good food, drinks and fun, I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing!

This tour was more than expected. Especially since we had such a great tour guide, Endika ( I hope I spelled that correctly) To get this tour from a born and raised Basque native was priceless. The history and culture told by Endika was perfect. Be prepared for a hike. We were fortunate to get a cloudy, drizzly day since for days prior it had been over 100 degrees in Gaztelugatxe. Make sure to carry some water. You will be told of this by your tour guide. Our guide also took us around the town of Guernika. As the sun broke through the clouds for a moment, Endi gave us a history lesson of the town. On my vacation through out Spain, I visited many places on tours but this one really left a lasting impression. To learn of the struggles and fight and history of the Basque region and its people was both romantic and brought on empathy as well. I am happy I saved to visit this region last; to keep the memory of the culture, the food, and best of all, the kindness of the people fresh in my mind and heart. Great way to see Bilbao.

Well organised tour around Bilbao. Our guide, Roberto, gave us an interesting history of the city from a locals perspective explaining how Bilbao was transformed from an industrial mining town to a tourist destination. Ride was easy on the well maintained bikes and very flat. Lots of cycle lanes made for a relaxing and safe trip around the City.

Wine tour

My daughter and I enjoyed the day trip from Bilbao! The landscape was beautiful and the architecture of the Marqués de Riscal hotel and Ysios winery were incredible. Great wine from all three vineyards! Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable about wine and the area. Highly recommend!

Javi the Great Guggenheim Guide

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the outside and inside tour of the Guggenheim in Bilbao! We were lucky that there were only four of us and Javi, our guide, was the best! Javi was filled with so much information and incredible detail. He consistently spoke to each one of us saying our names to make sure we didn’t miss a beat! He took photos when we asked and had a huge passion for his work and for the city he was born in. Would definitely recommend Javi.

great morning adventure

excellent overview of basque area with a great hike -short but moderate - lots of steps up and down, can be steep but the views are incredible. Zach was an amazing guide. Pick up was early but we beat the crowds! Borneo was a nice fishing town -- Very comfortable airconditioned van. Pintxos were delicious. highly recommend!

The best food tour we’ve ever been on! As we visited in early March during the off-season, we were lucky enough to end up on an unplanned private pintxos tour. Kara was an incredible guide - so knowledgeable not only about the food and drinks we were trying, but also about the Basque Country, its rich history, culture, and language. She thoughtfully took our dietary preferences into account when ordering the pintxos, choosing dishes that suited both of us perfectly while still encouraging us to try exciting new things. Every stop felt carefully chosen, and the experience felt incredibly personal. We learned so much throughout the tour, from the traditions behind pintxos to the stories of the old town and the Basque culture. It truly was such a special and personalised experience. It was a pleasure to meet Kara, and we’re so grateful for such a wonderful evening that we’ll never forget. This tour genuinely made our holiday!
