Guide was great. He was very knowledgeable about Bilbao, the Guggenheim museum and Basque culture. He did a good job answering all our questions. We learned a lot about the Basque people and history.

Our guide was very informative in the history of Bilbao as we walked round. He showed us where the best bars were to go to. However we didn’t stop in any of them and as the tour was 2hrs long my only comment would be to stop occasionally. We did eventually ask if we could stop and gat a drink and we offered him one as well. We did think we perhaps should have done this earlier in the trip as I’m sure he would have do so. So maybe a tip for future travellers.

Sam was great. We covered a lot of ground. He showed me interesting sites, shared lots of cultural and historical information, and gave me great recommendations for restaurants, pintxo bars, and clubs to visit. Sam is born and raised in Bilbao, so he could give a local’s perspective for everything. It was quite nice to learn all these about the Basque Country. The best experience for me was to wander through the old town, especially the very busy Pintxos bar area where lots of people were out and about late Saturday night. What an experience!
Inigo gave us a super overview of Bilbao and great tips regarding restaurants and other sights.
He even told us about places worth seeing outside of Bilbao for the rest of our trip to northern Spain!
His German skills are also very good.
