Great experience with focus on the building, the exterior and several of the exhibition rooms. Love the lower room with the moment in time sculptures.

José is not just a tour guide, but a true docent. He has studied art history and can communicate important facts about what we’re seeing. But better yet, he can elicit deeper questions and insights as he guides his visitors to a deeper appreciation not only of the works on view, but of the museum, itself. We appreciated his love for his city and the deep connection he feels for its history and aspirations. Learning about the Guggenheim Foundation’s connection to the city, the history and evolution of its construction, and the impact the museum has made on urban renewal was enlightening.

The guide rushed us through the museum and I don’t think she was knowledgeable. We did not enjoy the tour but with a different guide, I am sure it will be great

The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is fabulous and our tour guide did a wonderful job leading our LARGE group through the crowds. He was knowledgeable and patient. We were disappointed with the size of our group, which was 20-25 people. We chose viator because they usually have the advertised "small group" tour

There was a mixup regarding place to meet, but that had to do with central office, not the guide.

Nora is an incredible guide! She brought in history, Basque culture, and lots of information about the museum outside and art inside. So worth it! Her knowledge and tour helped to truly understand the museum. She is one of the best guides we have had in Spain while traveling!

Appreciated the information provided but for price of this tour not value for money.
Would have liked more information; the guide started to talk about a topic but didn’t continue because of lack of time - suggest not starting a topic if there’s insufficient time to explain.
Wasted time at beginning of tour as guide wasn’t at meeting point provided.
Tour felt generally disorganised as guide sometimes didn’t know where to find what she was looking for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao with Beatriz. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about both the museum’s architecture and its collection of contemporary art.
The small group format made the experience much more personal and interactive. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and Beatriz provided fascinating insights that we would have missed on a self-guided visit. The explanations of the building’s design, history, and the significance of the various exhibits greatly enhanced our appreciation of the museum.
The tour was well-paced, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. We left with a much deeper understanding of both the art and the architectural masterpiece that is the Guggenheim. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bilbao—it was one of the highlights of our trip.

We learned about the building of the museum and the history of what was happening in Bilbao at the time of construction. The entire tour was so interesting and our guide, Beatrice, was fantastic.

The tour was excellent. Miguel was interesting, knowledgeable and really engaging. We learnt a lot in a very short space of time.
I have given 4 stars because of the initial administration. We were given a place to meet which was not the place to meet! When I called the office (twice) it was still unclear.
Then when we went to enter the museum, the people with backpacks had to go and check their packs in. This could have been done while we were waiting for other people to arrive and for Miguel to get the tickets, delaying us a few minutes.
Excellent tour though, highly recommend, and if they can sort their admin out it would be 5 stars without a doubt.

90 minutes which you can do on your own. The big draw is the building itself. Very little artwork. Read up on the design and construction of the museum and you don’t need a guide.

We really enjoyed our guided tour of the magnificent Guggenheim Art Gallery. Our lovely tour guide Ashim (sorry if I’ve spelt your name wrong) was very knowledgeable in the history of Bilbao and the Guggenheim. He took his time and answered all our questions, the tour was booked for 1 1/2 hours but he stayed over 2 hours with the group. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone thinking about booking this tour. Thank you to our tour guide for making it a great experience.

Beatriz was our guide and she couldn’t have been more special. I suffered a serious neck injury and because I was so looking forward to the guide I decided to go through - upon ou request Beatriz gave us a shortened guide and then offered to do it tomorrow if I felt better.
From the time I was there Beatriz was so full of knowledge and passion for her city.
It will remain a regret for me that I was unable to make the most of it.

Very worthwhile and impressive. Jose was informative and charming. Guests should be instructed to meet adjacent to the ticket counter since the entry/lobby area is massive.

Although our tour guide was a lovely person, we felt that the tour was really lacking in information. It was not a cheap tour and we expected a little more in depth commentary.
