What a fun experience! We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Basque culture and how to make pintxos from Mikel. He went out of his way to accommodate our party’s dietary (vegetarian) needs and offered lots of great tips that we will use at home. Our dessert was the icing on the cake… utterly amazing! I can’t recommend this experience enough. We would gladly do it again!

First cooking class on our first trip to Bilbao! Mikel was friendly and conversational, kept us all on track, and we made a wonderful dinner the whole group enjoyed. Highly recommend for first timers to Barcelona. Thank you so much Mikel!

The instructor, Mikal, was friendly, welcoming and made the class very enjoyable. Perfect introduction to pincho's in Spain. Very liberal wine pours. Highly recommend for something fun to do in Bilbao.

This was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. My wife and I try to take a cooking class in each new city we visit, and this was the best that we encountered. Mikel (the chef) was the friendliest, most knowledgeable and skillful chef we've encountered. He had great stories about his progress becoming a master chef, including about various other chefs he has worked with. It was an evening that we will never forget! (AND you get a commemorative apron as a souvenir!)

It was a great experience with a knowledgeable and friendly chef (Mikel). From the start we felt very welcomed and the kitchen was top notch. The initial drinks and starters were a great touch and started the class well. The preparation of the food was informative and got some great tips and ideas. It is clear that Mikel is a great chef with years of experience. The food tasted amazing and the Basque Toast was the best dessert that I’ve had in years. Thanks for a great evening.

Expert instruction. Delicious food. Fun group of people. Mikel combined the history of Basque food with the cooking instruction. Interesting and delicious. Plus lots of laughter.

Excelente experiencia. Mikel es un crack. Un gran profesor y buen conversador. Generoso para entregar sus recetas y conocimientos. No solo aprendimos de pintxos sino de típs para cocinar que no conocíamos. Es un excelente anfitrión, el lugar espectacular. Lo pasamos muy bien.
