A great way to access...

A great way to access Montserrat from Barcelona. One note: You will be taking a bus, not a train with this tour. I was asked again and again by my family how we were getting there, and it wasn’t in the listing that we took a tour bus out of Barcelona. This was not noted in the tour description and confusing because we met at a train station. Roberto, our tour guide was great and we appreciated having plenty of free time to explore.

Great Experience

It was a wonderful experience. The guide and driver were excellent. Transportation was comfortable to the site. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided great insight into the history and structure of Montserrat. There was adequate time to explore on your own. Only regret is that we did not take the funicular to the top of the mountain. Perhaps with might be recommended or provided as part of the tour.

Louis was an incredible guide. Knowledge and passionate about history he truly made a long day feel engaging at every step. We never felt rushed on this tour and I would highly recommend this as it was well organized with a good amount of free time. We never ended up going into the amphitheater which was disappoint as it says it’s included but everything else was amazing

Amazing Full Day Tour with the family in Barcelona

Amazing day in Barcelona! Full day tour with Steven as our tour guide and Roberto as our driver. They were both fantastic! Steven was incredibly knowledgeable and had a notebook full of maps and photos to help in sharing the rich history of Barcelona. Each stop along the tour was fascinating. Visiting Basilica de la Sagrada Família was an experience of a lifetime that I will never forget. I would book this tour again in a heartbeat. Pick up and drop off were right from our hotel making this tour very easy to coordinate. Have done numerous tours through Viator and I think that this is the best tour that I have ever taken. Thank you Steven and Roberto for a wonderful day.

We had a fantastic day on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. From the very beginning, Tony provided exceptional service. He picked us up from our hotel promptly at 8:30 am and safely dropped us back around 5:30 pm, making the entire day completely stress-free. Throughout the tour, Tony was enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He shared fascinating stories about Girona’s rich history, its medieval heritage, and how the city has evolved into what it is today. His explanations were informative, engaging, and delivered with a great sense of humor. Our visit to the beautiful medieval town of Pals was another highlight. Tony showed us the best viewpoints and photo spots, making it easy to capture those perfect Instagram-worthy pictures while also explaining the town’s history and unique character. The afternoon at Calella de Palafrugell was the perfect contrast—a charming Mediterranean seaside village with crystal-clear water, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of time to enjoy the beach. Some guests even had the opportunity to go for a swim. Tony also recommended an excellent local restaurant for lunch, along with some delicious regional dishes, which added another memorable experience to the day. With only five people in our group, the tour felt relaxed, personal, and flexible. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and enjoy each destination at a comfortable pace. This was one of the most enjoyable day trips of our one-month European journey. Our guide Francisco was top notch, giving us historical perspectives that can only come from a lot of reading and memorization. One of the best guides I have had the pleasure of meeting! Try to attend mass if possible, it’s very reverent, holy, moving and much more.

Great gentle bike ride, don't get the e-bike

Fantastic tour with a fun guide who knew how to keep things light while giving good details. Gave a good down to earth feeling of what parts of the city feel like. The route is pretty flat and if you're of average shape you should be easily able to do it on a normal bike (as I did). An e-bike will obviously make the effort required close to nothing.

What a fantastic way to see Madrid! Our tuk tuk tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Lucas was our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience both fun and informative. We got to see so many beautiful parts of the city while learning interesting history and local tips we never would have discovered on our own. The tuk tuk was comfortable, easy to hear the guide, and perfect for covering a lot of ground without getting exhausted. We especially loved seeing the hidden streets and neighborhoods beyond the usual tourist spots. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Madrid — a great mix of sightseeing, culture, and fun!
