Good your and guide was full of city and Irish history information. Dublin Castle was closed and would have been nice to know this. It will be closed due to EU head being in Ireland for a while, so no reason not to update your description!

Great experience. I'd give it 5 stars but I was disappointed that we couldn't get near the dublin castle. Had i known that before booking, I wouldn't have done this full walking tour and just gone to the book of Kells on my own. So that is something that should have been told to us when we booked this. But regardless, our guide was excellent Eliza was a plethora of wonderful info and made it worth while

Great comprehensive tour
Very knowledgeable tour guide. Pointed out a lot of interesting sites too bad the library at Book of Kells is undergoing a cleaning that means most books are off the shelves but that is out of anyone’s control.

Fascinating Tour with Fantastic Guide!
Alan was a fantastic guide with so much knowledge, which helped our family really appreciate the Book of Kells and other sights around Dublin. When we couldn’t access the Dublin Castle, he discussed what we could from the outside and took us to other interesting places around town. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour!

  • Plan to spend about two hours at the castle learning about Irish history and exploring the highlights.

  • City Hall and Trinity College are about a five-minute walk from Dublin Castle and both are well worth a visit.
