What are people saying about Dublin Castle

Book it, & request Niall
Make sure to book with Niall Mcguinness - he is so incredibly well versed in the history of the university (as he went there), the town, the Book of Kells, the history behind the Dublin Castle, local restaurants, tips for the rest of our trip. I wish I could have just brought him along for the whole trip. Great guy!

Dublin History
A lot of history mixed with good humor. It's exactly what you want on a walking tour. I had an amazing time with my group as a solo traveler here on business. Emmett was a great tour guide and gave you the history on the book of kells, Dublin castle and more.

Great comprehensive tour
Very knowledgeable tour guide. Pointed out a lot of interesting sites too bad the library at Book of Kells is undergoing a cleaning that means most books are off the shelves but that is out of anyone’s control.

Niall was the BEST!!
Our tour guide Niall was amazing and made the tour what it was! He made sure to tell us about everything we saw in ways that were interesting, informative and not to detailed that he lost us! Would recommend this tour…with Niall!

Do this tour!
Samantha Rose was fantastic. She went over time to show us Trinity University, the book for cells, and many other surrounding sites. She fielded questions from everyone and allowed us to roam freely. She displayed encyclopedic knowledge of relevant trip information and included a few stories about famous Trinity alums, including Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde. Strongly recommend!

Good your and guide was full of city and Irish history information. Dublin Castle was closed and would have been nice to know this. It will be closed due to EU head being in Ireland for a while, so no reason not to update your description!

You get much more out of it with a guide
Our guide Jimmy was great. Personalized it and made it fun. He took pictures of the group and individuals in the group along the way which added to the experience.

Best commentary and...
Best commentary and insights on any tour I have taken; our guide Edward M. was outstanding. He was engaging and provided us with great understanding of what we were seeing. Highly recommend Edward and this tour. Although the tour itself was pricey; so worth the investment.

Great experience. I'd...
Great experience. I'd give it 5 stars but I was disappointed that we couldn't get near the dublin castle. Had i known that before booking, I wouldn't have done this full walking tour and just gone to the book of Kells on my own. So that is something that should have been told to us when we booked this.
But regardless, our guide was excellent Eliza was a plethora of wonderful info and made it worth while

Trinity College and book of Kells tour
This was a wonderful tour of Trinity College and the Book of Kells. The tour also included walking outside of the college with some great history of the city. Our guide, Jimmy was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely recommend this activity.

A great way to see the Book of Kells, the Long Room, and a few other tourist sites while getting to know local stories and facts. Mary gives a great tour - she know a lot and is very funny.

Knowledgeable local tour guide
Wow. Just wow. Ed was an amazing tour guide. He was local and knowledgeable. He taught us so much about Irish history and took us to so many locations that we could use to visualize all of the historical information. 100% recommended.
