Our driver was early, which was wonderful as we didn’t have our e-tickets, he took us to the port ticket office and stayed with us and made sure we got to the correct dock. He was amazing.

Driver was prompt and personable. Thus was a yellow taxi and not what we’d call a private car. The cost was approximately 25 euros higher than calling a taxi myself so I felt it was not worth the $$.

In Athens, private transfers for 1–2 passengers are operated with licensed sedan taxis, which are the official vehicles authorized by local regulations to provide such services. Although they may appear similar to regular taxis, the difference is that your transfer was pre-booked, dedicated exclusively to you, and included meet-and-greet service, fixed pricing, and no waiting time — benefits not offered by standard street taxis.

The driver arrived early with a very nice van, large enough to accommodate 6 adults and all of our luggage. The transfer from Athens to the port was seamless! The cost was also very reasonable, approximately $16 per person!
