My recent trip to Meteora was nothing short of magical—truly beyond what any photo could ever capture. The towering rock formations and monasteries felt almost otherworldly, and being there in person was an unforgettable experience. A huge part of what made the trip so special was our guide, Maria. Being from the area, her knowledge of the monasteries and their history was incredibly rich and insightful. She went above and beyond by bringing picture illustrations to show how the landscape looked in the past, which really helped bring the history to life. Her energy was fantastic throughout the trip—she kept everything running smoothly, made sure we stayed on schedule, and ensured we didn’t miss any of the best viewpoints. I also want to give credit to our drivers, Vasilissis and Thassios, who made the journey comfortable and safe from start to finish. Knowing we were in good hands allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the experience. I highly recommend this trip to anyone considering visiting Meteora—it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you leave.

Such an incredible experience! Had the perfect weather, definitely the kind of place that's made even better by the sunshine! Easy to nap on the bus, Elena was the most wonderful guide - she shared so much information, stories, and facts with us! Great little stop along the way, my only complaint about the day was that the museum dragged on quite a bit! The site was wonderful though some of our group struggled mobility wise as it was quite a bit of walking. I think a slightly shorter tour and little longer free time would be appreciated to ensure time to get to the stadium and take pictures along the way! Arachova was incredible, definitely save time for some pictures near the church! The lunch was basic but very tasty, just in love with Arachova! Elena was the absolute star but the entire trip was well worth the drive! Cannot recommend enough!

This tour was our highlight of Athens. The tour guide always makes the difference and our guide was Aphrodite. She was so personable and knowledgeable. We had plenty of time for viewing and she kept us moving. I don't feel like we missed anything. This was a wonderful and memorable experience thanks to Aphrodite.
