Top Arizona On the Water

Kris was our guide and she did an AMAZING job showing us every nook and cranny of the canyon, pointing out wildlife, telling entertaining stories, and talking about the science behind each feature of the area. We had an amazing time learning and experiencing Glen Canyon and Horseshoe bend with a stop at Petroglyph beach. Thank you, Kris!

What a day of breathtaking views! We had perfect weather and the water was just so refreshing to swim in. Lans was an awesome tour guide! He took time to explain the history of Lake Powell and all the fun facts . He took photos for us and just made this an extraordinary experience! We’ll definitely be back!

This was a very fun activity to get away from the concrete jungle while enjoying the heat! We went down for the 4 mile excursion. The good: our guide, Jessica. Was very personable and had a wonderful, outgoing personality. She included everyone in the group in having fun. She stopped and helped us take pictures of each other and even took pictures of us on her phone that she sent to everyone the next day! Jessica gave us historical facts about the area. The bad: it felt very rushed. Was not a leisurely kayaking experience. It was a get over here in 3 minutes, across the river in 6...I had never been kayaking before and found this much more trying that I thought it'd be. We weren't able to look around at the sights because of the go, go of the tour. On the way back, my boyfriend and I fell back behind the group and enjoyed paddling at our speed looking at the goats, eagles, and all the other sights we didn't get to see on our way to the cove. The cove is very small and only allows approx 10 people in at a time. There was a 30-40 min wait time for our turn to take pictures in the <5 minutes. Overall, I'd definitely do it again. Must do a tandem instead of a single. See if there's a different style group or rental that isnt so time goal oriented that would allow for more of a casual (vs feeling like a race...this was expressed by a few couples in the group) kayaking experience with a goal, ie the cave.

Manny was an awesome guide very knowledgeable of the canyon and the river. Patient with us slower paddlers and let us enjoy the beauty of all of it. The hardest part was getting up the hill after to drop our gear off but manny had cold water waiting for us! Definitely recommend this for all

Best kayak experience. Cameron was a great guide. He had lots of knowledge and knew all the best spots to stop and check things out. He told us we can just enjoy the experience and didn’t have to worry about having our phone out to capture it. He took 500 photos/videos for us of our adventure. Book this excursion! You won’t regret it!

We’ve lived in Camp Verde for almost 30 years and have just had the opportunity to kayak the Verde with this fun company. Our guide/bus driver John, was born and raised here and is knowledgeable and so funny. He got all of us in our kayaks and said if you don’t return in three days, I’ll come looking for you. The best part is you can travel at your own pace. Take an hour or take three. Totally up to you. Definitely recommend this kayak tour!

It’s a nice & easy rapid to follow. Seth, my tour guide is so nice & very patient with me. He makes sure that I am comfortable & safe all the way. We saw few hummingbirds, otter, yellow bird….dont know the exact name, also saw a blue Heron. Over all, my experience as a 1st time kayaker it was pretty great! Will definitely do it again.

We had a great experience although there was an overcast which was good because the temperature was cooler but we didn’t get to see the full effect of the light shining into the cave. Our tour guides Doug and Isaac were great. Would definitely recommend this tour.
