The trip is a relaxing ride down the river. The scenery is majestic. Our guide, Castro, was friendly, relaxed, and shared so much information about the canyon. Castro took photos of families, answered questions and was very knowledgeable of the canyon. We enjoyed our day and I recommend it for everyone.

It should be more clear as to where one should meet the bus.
Viator sent many messages, which is good. But please remind people to be 1/2 hr early for.
Guide and all were very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and conscientious.

Jazmine was a great tour guide down to horseshoe bend. River was beautiful and she explained all the points on the river and some geological points on the stone.

Kris did an awesome job. Great experience and would highly recommend. Weather was great and tour company was very helpful.

Kris was our guide and she did an AMAZING job showing us every nook and cranny of the canyon, pointing out wildlife, telling entertaining stories, and talking about the science behind each feature of the area. We had an amazing time learning and experiencing Glen Canyon and Horseshoe bend with a stop at Petroglyph beach. Thank you, Kris!

Nice day on the water. Wonderful guide. The bus ride was quick and the driver narration was just enough. Boats were comfy - wear a raincoat because there is a little splash. I would recommend.

We had a great experience with this company on 9/26/25.
We did the Horseshoe Bend rafting trip.
The company was very organized. After a comfortable bus ride of approximately an hour to Lee Ferry, we met our guide Tom for the trip. He was very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the area. We saw big horn sheep, wild horses and lots of ducks and other birds. The raft stopped once for a break and rest rooms and we were able to look at petroglyphs. It was very interesting. The bus ride back was also comfortable.
Overall a great way to see the beautiful Colorado River up close and learn its history.

It was an awesome experience, we enjoyed it all the way. Although it was a uncommon rainy day there was any delay.

We had a great time with Kelly! Super knowledgeable and had all kinds of extra items that made the trip enjoyable and special, from cooling towels, historic pictures and a 80 million year secret surprise souvenir. We had a mom’s trip with our teen boys. Swimming in the 40 degree water was a highlight! We enjoyed the petroglyphs. It was a nice day after doing Zion hikes yesterday. On to Bryce tomorrow. Even though it’s July- it was cool on the water! So cool to be in Horseshoe bend on the water.

They cancelled the trip and told us when we arrived for the expérience. Lady told us the the trip was cancelled at 6pm the night before. But not a phone call or e-mail to let us know! We drove up for the morning tour the day before and booked a hotel. Got up at 6:00 am to be on Time for the tour to find out they cancelled it (because of smoke due to wildfire).
I can understand that this can happen, but if you décide to cancel in the evening, you should have informed me in the evening. We could have made other plans.
Please improve your communication!!!!

What a peaceful and relaxing day on the water experiencing the canyons from a different perspective. It was really cool to see the wildlife along the way as well. There were a couple hiccups with logistics (some out of the control of tour operator, some within their control) which is the only reason this is not a 5 star review. For anyone traveling from Kanab (or Southern Utah in general -- during the "Spring Forward" portion of daylight savings time, this part of Page is one hour behind you, so make sure to get some extra rest!)

Wear a snug fitting hat. See the horseshoe bend overlook first so you’re not too tired afterwards. Tom is a great guide.
CLAIRE_M, Jul 2025
You will get wet and the water is freezing even in Summer. Gets hot and sunscreen a must. Great fun and all loved it.
Bernadette_F, Jul 2025
Hydrate, wear sunscreen. Wear clothing you don’t mind getting wet or wear your swimsuit under your clothes.

Well organized - fun excursion.
The guide had a good sense of humor.
We had 16 in the boat, which was a comfortable amount.

We booked the afternoon/evening raft trip and it was amazing. The second half is the trip was almost completely in the shade. Our guide and captain was excellent and full of knowledge. My kids loved it!!!

Later in day was much better time for heat. Good guide made it way more fun for kids and grandmother traveling together.

This was a wonderful cruise through Horseshoe Bend. Candy and Joe we're excellent tour guides. Loved seeing the Petroglyphs!
Karen_B, May 2025
What a professional organization! The check in process was excellent and their restroom facilities are beyond compare. And that’s all before we even got on the bus!
Bus ride was comfortable in what appeared to be a new bus with a nice interior and seat belts. Driver was professional and pleasant. But the cream of the crop was CHRIS, our river guide. Part Navajo, she knew the stories of the land and the history and current events of the place. She recited a poem for us about the canyon that brought applause and cheers. Beyond that, the canyon is unbelievably beautiful and wild. We saw so many animals, wild horses, birds,
Bighorn sheep, to name a few. All in all just a fabulous day. Definitely do this trip and use wilderness adventures booked through Viator!

This was a great day. Very well managed company. The entire experience was approx 5 hours. One hour bus ride to the ferry dock. Amazing sites and our tour guide/boat operator was fantastic. Would highly recommend this experience.

One of the best tours I have done, small group , not rushed and lots to see and hear about. Great guide who knew his stuff and took tremendous photos of the party
Craig_D, Oct 2024
Excellent rafting trip to see the inside of the canyon. The guide was excellent in explaining the terrain and views and making sure you got your moneys worth of sites and pictures. The check-in was simple and the bus ride to the launch site was easy and enjoyable. I am usually an extremely cautious person in booking things like this but if your like me you will enjoy it tremendously.
Rebecca_N, Oct 2024
We had a wonderful experience with Laverne. We had booked our tour with a third party not realizing it. Which caused a tremendous amount of problems with a tour prior to horseshoe bend.
Our tour with Horseshoe was very well organized and guide was outstanding.
Our Antelope canyon tour was nothing but problems. HOWEVER; Laverne salvaged that for us too.
Louis_G, Oct 2024
Great trip on the water and our guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend this for everyone. Easy to get on and off and the bus ride was smooth and also informative.
Karen_Y, Oct 2024
