What are people saying about Arizona

Josh was the best!
Beautiful, peaceful, serene. Crystal clear water with a glassy surface amidst towering sheer cliffs. The cave itself is really cool, but somewhat small. However, the entire journey is beautiful. A fantastic way to get in nature, get away from the city, and move your body.
Our guide, Josh, was exceedingly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He was very attentive to the group and helped anyone who needed it.
The equipment was very nice.

Great adventure - confidence building and fun!
This was a wonderful experience for our group! Our guide (Cameron) was truly amazing! We had a group of 6 with a wide range of personalities, abilities, experience kayaking and comfort on the water, and Cameron coached each one through their specific needs with an open heart and creative spirit.

I will say, if you’re not...
I will say, if you’re not a “group tour” kind of person and you’ve kayaked before, you could easily rent kayaks and do this route on your own and have a bit more flexibility. That said, the tour was great! Skyler was outgoing, offered to take pictures for us, and tried to cater to the group (asking if anyone had a hard end time or if we could go over a bit on time to get further into the canyon, on the way back asking if anyone wanted to go swimming or just head back). The water on Lake Powell was very smooth on the way out, slightly wavy on the way back, but we weren’t in peak busy season yet, so there weren’t too many boats. The water in the canyon was like glass. The whole paddle was incredibly scenic, and the hike was very beautiful. The next day we did a Lower Antelope Canyon tour through Dixie’s and that part of the canyon was completely unique and magical. If you’re looking for the classic Antelope Canyon experience, the paddle and hike isn’t the same as you would get with a tribal tour, but it’s still worth it, I was happy to have done both. Some logistics, follow the directions to the meeting point listed on Viator, you drive all the way down almost to the water. There are bathrooms at the top of the hill before you head down the boat launch. The only drawback about this tour is it’s a long time without bathroom access in a setting where you should be hydrating!

The BEST day!
Great time with family! This kayaking experience was a nice slow river where I felt safe the entire time. We could go at our own pace instead of feeling pressure trying to keep up with a guide as a group. We could take breaks to swim and have a snack as needed, and even enjoyed a short little nap in the sun after beaching ourselves on some sand. We were given easy and complete instructions by our awesome guide, Ben, before he launched us off down the river. The surroundings were beautiful, and the only bad part of the trip was that it had to come to an end :) I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. We never felt rushed…only relaxed. This was THE BEST way to spend a day!

Beautiful spring trip down the river
My 13 y.o. son and I booked a guided kayak trip down the Verde River. Guides Lindsey and Cooper were awesome!
Everything was very convenient - they had us park our car down river near where the trip would end, then they drove us upriver to the starting point of our trip and where the kayaks were.
They gave us some instruction on how to handle the kayak and we spent a few minutes practicing in a wide part of the river where the water was slow moving.
One guide led the way, giving instructions on the best way to navigate down river. The second guide followed behind to make sure no one fell behind. The nice thing is that our tour included only people from our party - they do not mix groups of people who don’t know each other. In our case this was only 2 people, so for my son and I, it felt like a very private tour.
We timed our trip around my son’s spring break, which turned out to be perfect time of year to explore northern Arizona. At 10am on the day of our tour, it was maybe a little cool, but warming up fast to around 85 degrees at the end. There’s lots of tree cover so we didn’t spend much time in direct sunlight.
Fortunately the water level of the river was good enough that grounding was not a serious problem. There were a few places where the bottom of my boat did contact a sandbar, but nothing requiring me to get out and pull the boat to deeper water, though YMMV.
I did get myself into trouble early and ended up capsizing, but Lindsey and Cooper kept everything under control and got me back in my boat quickly.
There were some faster moving sections of water in places. I’m not sure if it is correct to call them rapids or not, but it definitely made things more interesting - in a good way! If you’ve done white water rafting or kayaking before, then these ‘rapids’ would bore you, but for someone like me, who has only ever kayaked in calm lakes, it was a little shot of excitement sandwiched between some rather calm and serene stretches of river.
My son and I had a great time and we highly recommend booking a tour with Lindsey and Cooper.

Take this tour!
What a great trip! The weather was perfect, the scenery was spectacular, and our guide Ian was excellent. Ian’s knowledge of the canyon added so much to the tour, as well as his patience and willingness to accommodate everyone’s abilities. We were a group of four and all agreed this was a terrific experience.

One of the Best Experience Ever!
The tour was absolutely amazing and so much fun! It gave me unforgettable memories. I'm willing to comeback with my parents in the future. Also our guide Rich was very nice and friendly!
p.s. Yes, they changed my tour time from 13:00 to 11:00am but it was understandable and actually it was much better. If you are planning for this tour, I hardly recommend you to choose morning time.

CHOOSE THIS 1 - over other ones
This kayak tour to the Emerald Cave & other caves was awesome, peacefully……and hard work lol — one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we got on the water, Jared the tour guide is super relaxed and inviting. Jared, made the experience exceptional. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate, sharing funny stories while making everyone feel comfortable and taken care of. UNLIMITED SNACKS for the win lol. Because of him, the tour felt personal, and fun, and unforgettable. View of canyon was nice, unexpected mini hike to explore. Also, he took tons of pictures and let us borrow his waterproof bag.
I can’t recommend this experience—or Jared—highly enough.
PICK THIS TOUR!!!! Super thankful I last minute cancelled with another tour agency and decided to choose this one. Plus the early morning start is a win!!
Thanks again 🙂 Would book again.

Serene adventure
Its beautiful and serene. If you'd just renting the kayaks and doing the self tour, it really is done by yourself. Its great. The emerald cave isn't really a cave. I thought you could kayak through caves, but uts not l. It's like a joke in the side of the rock. Still cool tho. My 3 year old loved this adventure as well!

Amazing experience, would recommend to everyone
Eddie is an amazing guide, we had a problem with the initial booking and he handled it very nicely. He provided non-alcoholic drinks and snack bars throughout the journey. He gave us interesting facts and was patient with our pace. Could not recommend him enough!! Thank you Eddie :)

Great experience!
Due to an inaccessible road, we were not able to take the trip we’d planned. However the company offered us an upgraded tour at no extra cost. Guides Ray and Soren did a fantastic job leading our kayaking tour. The wild donkeys were the added bonus! Thanks for a great trip!

A must-do small-group kayaking tour
This was the perfect introduction to kayaking for our family who had never kayaked. Blair was patient, informative and kind -- from the prompt pick-up and drop-off at our hotel to his expansive knowledge of the area and its hidden gems. We had a very small group (my family of four and a handful of others) and he knew at all times where everyone was on the water.
