We had an absolutely...

We had an absolutely wonderful day and our guide truly made the experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, he personalized the day for us and made sure everyone, especially my 80 year old mother felt comfortable, safe, included, and cared for throughout the tour. Our guide, Ibrahim was engaged the entire time, sharing so much interesting Dutch history and local insight that the time in the van flew by. The pacing of the day was perfect, with just the right number of stops to keep things exciting and memorable. We especially loved stopping at a local farm stand and a tulip field for photos. The entire day felt like stepping into a fairytale. We saw beautiful windmills, visited a cheese factory, watched a fascinating clog-making demonstration, and explored some of the most picturesque scenery. Walking and boating through Giethoorn truly felt like moving through a storybook! This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to the Netherlands, and we would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a thoughtful, well-paced, and unforgettable experience.

Great Day Trip

Wonderful tour. Tour guide Andrea was very friendly, entertaining, and provided a guided tour in both Brussels and Bruges. Our driver Johan kept us safe and on time. Beauty Beyond Belief

Of course, touring the clog and cheese making “spots” were informative and fun (and tasty for the cheese!), BUT the highlight for us was touring the Keukenhof Gardens!! We are avid gardeners, so this was just a treat! The gardens were everything we had read about and more. Yes, it was the end of the “season” and the fields had been dead-headed, but the staff had it looking like it could’ve been Day One with color-color-color everywhere! The creativity of the designers in the various pavilions, and the phenomenal work of the 30 gardeners employed to create this masterpiece were beyond impressive in our opinion. Yolanda and Daniel were the perfect team to get us from place to place safely. Along the way, Yolanda provided just the right amount of educational and interesting narration for our group, though “Whispers” would have really been appreciated when we weren’t on the bus with that PA system. (These assure that all participants get all the info including when/where to meet or any change of plans that needs to be communicated.) For visitors who want to have “a taste of Amsterdam,” we would highly recommend this tour since it showcases three things Amsterdam’s known for. We also felt there was plenty of time spent at each stop. Another ⭐️ in the Viator crown in our opinion! (For us the meeting place to begin the tour - near the Central Station - was about a 10-15 minute walk from our hotel. We did go there the day before to confirm it was the correct place.)

Get outside Amsterdam and learn more about the country!!

Loved the smaller group and Alex made everyone feel very comfortable. We had a wide range of ages and he made sure that everyone had the best time. It’s a packed day but the time was nicely paced and there was adequate time at each stop. The history behind each stop and also the current happenings in The Netherlands were all explained clearly. Alex did a great job!

A lovely morning at...

A lovely morning at Kuekenhof Gardens. Well organised from picking up the tickets at the Tours and Tickets in Amsterdam Station and transfer by coach from just ouside the station to the Gardens. Best to get there early before the crowds build up. The Gardens were lovely and tulip displays were impressive. Transfer back to Amsterdam was timely and comfortable. A good visit!

This is a great tour. Our tour director, Bea, spoke very good English and loud enough for all to hear. We had a wheelchair in our group and she made a special effort to make sure they were ok. She gave us the schedule of what our plans were for the day and followed the schedule and time frame so everyone understood. Our bus driver, Ness, was a good driver and I never worried about his driving.
