Itinerary

A private, air-conditioned vehicle will pick you up at your accommodations in Tulum.

Upon arrival in Coba, get a personalized tour of what was once an urban center for the Mayan people. See wildlife and birds during your exploration of the site, surrounded by cenotes, lakes, and lush rainforest. For a challenge, you can opt to climb the Yucatán's tallest pyramid, Nohoch Muul, for photo-worthy views of the surrounding landscape.

Next stop is the ruins at Tulum, where you'll explore the grounds with your guide and learn about the site's highlights and landmarks. Follow up your archaeological tours with a buffet lunch.

Following lunch, participate in a traditional Mayan cleansing ceremony in a temazcal, or sweat lodge. The shaman will lead you through the 1.5-hour ritual, which is centered around hot volcanic rock, fragrant herbs, and the goal of purification. Follow up your sweat session with a cold plunge and a snack of fresh fruit before returning to your hotel for drop-off.
