Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
Evidence of Advanced (level 2) certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a deep dive. These divings are only for advanced open water or higher certified divers (Open Water certified divers with deep certification will also be able to deep dive in cenotes).
Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

These were one of my best dives in my life. My guide Martino took very good care of me and explained the briefing very well. The water and visibilty are very clear. Out of this world and a must for every diver! I can highly recommend!

Hooked on Cave Diving

After diving with Martino- I am HOOKED on CAVE/ CENOTE diving! Totally out of this world diving in Los Ojos and excited to plunge into the depths of the Pit. Martino was knowledgeable and professional, yet fun and laid back and our small group (3 paid divers +1 Divemaster) had a marvelous time and were able to beat some of the crowds due to our earlier start time and convenient location of the shop in Tulum.

Both caves were different...

Both caves were different in their own way the 2nd cave was more popular as you got to swim around further which was Dos Ojos. My instructor was amazing and was great talking to. Definitely knowledgeable and easy to follow, friendly and nice as well. I would definitely recommend going here to dive with him on future dives

Underwater flying in The Pit, enjoying the sun rays

I dived with Alex and he is a great guide. The Dive Center location is easy to find with the description they send you in advance. You are welcomed in a private lush, shaded garden in the middle of Tulum to collect your gear. We were lucky to be one of the first at The Pit and the sun rays were just perfect for a beautiful light effect. Being all by ourselves in the Pit made it feel like we were flying in a magical space. Alex knows a lot about cave diving and the history of the cenotes. He is a cave diver in his free time and is always eager to explore new caves. You are safe in his guidance. The diving materials were all top quality. I can recommend Le Calypso Dive Center and ask for Alex as your guide.
