Messina Tour

We had a wonderful time in Messina. Our tour guide Lucio was very informative about the history of Sicily. Lucio took us to the top to Castelmola the views from atop were beautiful, when then had lunch up there at a family owned restaurant and the food was exactly what we were hoping to experience. We would definitely recommend taking this tour.

Our driver, Simon, was waiting for us right by the cruise port. We were in a small group with 4 other people. We stopped at Naxos and learned where Nike shoe company got their name. We drove way up into the mountains to Castelmola. The ruins were a little disappointing, but it was a great town with beautiful views. Taormina had super pizza and shopping. The views were gorgeous. We were unable to see the ruins of the theater because the line was so long, but we enjoyed the town so much we didn't really care. We googled it and looked at the inside online. We had a great day on this tour! Simon was a wonderful guide and told us all about the area while we were driving. He got us back to the cruise ship in plenty of time.

We had a wonderful time in Sicily. Our guide Sergio was excellent and really brought the experience to life. The little towns and villages we went to visit were idyllic and the food and wine we tasted was delicious. I would definitely recommend!

Simon is one of your most experienced and knowledgeable guides that has the ability to bring a city to life so that you really understand what you are seeing. He is both personable and witty . If you are coming to Sicily it would be a serious mistake NOT to have him as your guide.

Iggy took us on an amazing tour in Sicily. He is an expert driver who navigated us to more off-the-beaten-path spots, in addition to the traditional site-seeing locations. He is also hilarious, literally laugh-out-loud funny. He was great.

Sergio our driver made this a very pleasant experience for us. He took us to remote areas frequented by locals which was great. His lunch recommendation at a mom and pop restaurant was terrific. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. All around wonderful experience! Ask for him by name and you won’t be disappointed!
