We had a great tour of the Toranga Zoo. Zoo keeper Paul was wonderful. We had close encounters with several Australian native animals. We learned a lot. We highly recommend this tour. You can’t go wrong.

I definitely enjoyed hearing the backstories of the amazing Aussie animals told to the small group by the local keeper. Hearing their names, personalities, alongside the facts about their species and environment made the visit more endearing. Getting close to the koalas, long nose echidna, and potoroos was magical.
The rest of the zoo went well. It’s a beautiful location full of amazing animals and dedicated staff.

Our zookeeper guide gave us a lot of information about Australian animals. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us time to check out each animal. Go to the information desk to check in.

Rundown establishment. Full of old retired volunteers our private tour was 20 minutes late they didn't even have anyone to do the tour and had to sort it out and apologised

Incredible experience, friendly and knowledgeable guides. As an animal lover this was worth every dollar. Also paid extra for the Dingo experience... also incredible but not sure it's worth the $70 extra.

It was an a amazing experience that I got to learn about the animals, especially Australian specific ones, but to be up close and feed them as well. It was super cool and memorable.
The only thing missing was the advertised "souvenir/gift" that I was supposed to get after, it seems that was misleading and untrue.

Georgia (with the dreads) was a super sweet but incredibly knowledgeable tour guide and zoo keeper. She was open to finding out what we were most interested in and catered the experience toward that. We got up close and personal with the emus, kangaroos, A variety of wallabies, and an incredible up close and personal experience with the koalas and closed it out in the nocturnal house with the bilbies, all while getting a fantastically informative view of the Taronga zoo! I am so glad I chose to upgrade my ticket to include this behind the scenes tour of the zoo! Thanks Georgia!

Amazing experience ! Loved every minute of it… I enjoyed getting up close with the animals and feeding them . Our guide Paul was extremely knowledgeable and friendly you can really tell his passion for the animals.

If you want to learn all about Australian animals, this is definitely the tour for you. Our guide Tony was outstanding! And seeing several animals up close (koalas, Tasmanian devils, echidnas, and several others) were the absolute highlight of our day! A must do if you come to Sydney!

This was a great experience, our guide (Rob) was awesome, he has worked at the zoo for many years and his knowledge and love for the animals was amazing,
Unfortunately for us, the zoo is too large to see everything in one visit and we only had the one day for a visit, perhaps a return trip will be required

Paul was the zoo tour guide. He worked for the zoo for 20 years.
He was fabulous!
My friend loves animals and he gave her a once in a lifetime opportunity to be up close and personal with many animals

Not great. Sky safari cable car down for maintenance, no zoo kitchen, no afternoon tea ans cupcakes, trouble getting admittance to zoo. All that being said the women who took us around to the Australian animals was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour. Wish we had her for 4 hours.

What a fun tour! Tim the Zookeeper was engaging and allowed us to feed kangaroos, emus, bilbys and tasmanian devils! We got to get up close and personal with koalas as well. We got to go behind the scenes and learn so much about how the zoo cares for these animals. Highly recommend!

An absolutely beautiful zoo, even though a number of the animals were unavailable for viewing. The behind-the-scenes experience was well worth the cost. Our guide was informative, and very entertaining. Particularly enjoyed learning about "Drop Bears"! Highly recommend to all.

We had the nicest visit to the Taronga zoo. We had the absolute best zoo keeper Holly, who spent a few hours with us going through the Australian animals at the zoo. We met so many of the animal residents, got to touch them and take pictures. I would recommend this tour to anyone that want a to learn about the behind the scenes information about the Australian animals.
