This was a great way to see Sydney by water. You can take the ferry for 48 which is helpful. I recommend taking the cruise at night to see the city but you do not have the option to hop on and off. The zoo was a good experience but seems better for younger children than teenagers.

The Captain Cook hop on hop off boat was easy to locate and they provided a detailed schedule for drop off and pick up. The Tarongo Zoo was a wonderful experience. So much to see. The animals looked to be well taken care of. Would highly recommend.

Obviously the actual cruise is stunning but you can get that on the ferries too. I've given a lower rating as the frequency of hop on and hop off stops is ridiculous and not consistent. There's a period in the afternoon when you get stranded somewhere for hours without the ability to move. I had to get a standard ferry to meet my family at the zoo in the afternoon then there were no options to go elsewhere that day. So top tip only go to the zoo in the mornings. I completely wasted my second day ticket, didn't use it at all.

Great way to see multiple sites with a good crew and safe ferry ride. Our only obstacle was understanding their schedule, they just handed us the paper. Overall still a great experience and worth the money and time.

Great way to explore Sydney Harbour . We took the fast catermeran from Darling Harbour to the zoo then Manly and back . On time every stop not crowded . Great.

It’s a small zoo but a nice way to spend a few hours. The 2 day pass makes it easy to see all the beaches. We really enjoyed Manly beach.

Great way to see Sydney. Customer service was great at the terminal and the captains were amazing, cruising through all the watercraft and boats in the harbor. Loved being able to hop on and off. Visited the Zoo which was great. Manly Beach and Watson Bay were beautiful. The boat went past the Opera House so we had up close photos of that as well. The combo ticket saved us a lot of money, too.

I've never done a HOHO before and this was a good one to start.
I divided it into the "water" stops one day and the zoo the second. Good plan, although it rained on zoo day. LOL! Still, Taronga is amazing.
The Captain Cook crew was great and helped me navigate learning the ropes.
I'll definitely do another excursion with Captain Cook.

Some exhibits were good as long as you got there when it was feeding time, otherwise the animal was not to be seen. A lot of construction in areas limiting access to some animals, Tasmanian devils area was closed. We left somewhat disappointed. Still was wonderful to see some of the species.

The hop on hop off cruise is a great way to get around Sydney, although it would be nice to have a few more/different stops. We all loved the Taronga zoo even though many animals were nor on display due to all of the construction.

Wonderful way to spend the day. Great value as tickets to TARONGA zoo were $59. I went to Watson Bay and hiked. Didn’t eat at the famous fish and chips restaurant but it looked and smelled delicious. Time schedule was tricky. Workers were able to guide.

Boat schedule can leave some waiting but very nice to have less crowds than the public ferry. Two days was more relaxed. Zoo fantastic. Watson Cove was very special. Might include stop at Shark Island next time.

The zoo was excellent and transportation was fast. If the weather is nice the other places may be worth visiting. Unless you have a picnic or want to be on the beach, the hop/on really best to just view the places around the harbor.

Poor communication about wharf being closed, and poor directions for walking to Circular Quay from shore staff. Very disappointed. Ferry personnel were professional.

The Toronga Zoo was a very special place. There were animals from Australia but also from around the world.. You SHOULD get to the counter for tickets at about 9:00 a.m. as suggested. The next ferry is at 10:30! The food was not great at the food court and it was a madhouse at around 12:30. No place to sit after you get your food. Suggest you get to the zoo early and then take the ferry to Manli Beach where there are great restaurants. Your zoo ticket is good for the day so you can go back if you like! But Manli Beach is definitely worth the time for a visit.

Beautiful boat ride, really enjoyed the Sydney Harbour, skyline and bridge views. This tour is well worth the time and money spent. Hop on and off for two days gave us plenty of time to explore all the stops on the way including the torongo zoo. It’s a beautiful experience to see so many Koalas, kangaroos and wallabies. Boat ride is very relaxing. Highly recommend it.
