A COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

lee_b, Jan 2024
We were unable to access the pass initially and viator was slow to respond to our request for help. By the time we had access 1/2 of our 3 day pass had expired. Once we had access to the pass, we thought we had admission to the Sydney opera house. However we discovered it didn't give us access and by that time all tickets for admission were sold out. In total, we never used the pass for anything. A complete and total waste of money.

Worth the price

Roslyn_J, Nov 2022
The choices of places to go is more than adequate, but some of the book ahead places took some extra effort to arrange.

A total ripoff

Salil_B, Jun 2022
Our tickets were not working. We were unable to make bookings. Even on walk in they were unable to scan our tickets. Our tickets were not showing in their system. I applied for a refund and still waiting for the response. Ruined our trip and waste our money.

Horrible

Tamara_B, Apr 2022
Having difficulty scanning barcode at multiple attractions. Attractions that were available when pass was purchased, was no longer available for the dates i needed the pass. Online customer service still has not responded to me. It is not unlimited because Attractions say that you can only use the pass once per Attraction.

Busy day

Richard_B, Jan 2021
The unlimited passes are good if you plan your day out well and you haven't been to many of the attractions before.

well worth it!

Georgina H, Jan 2020
We booked the viator Sydney Attraction Pass before our visit and we are so glad we did. Saved money and time and we got lots of good tips from the Viator staff.

Sydney Holiday

Bernard_H, Dec 2019
In general we were very pleased with our Sydney Attraction iventure card and the value it provided. The purchase process through Viator from the UK was straightforward and it was easy to pick up the card in Darling Harbour. The one disappointing use we made of it was more down to the Hard Rock Café than the card itself. We paid an additional premium to use it in the HR Café where the food was poor and the 'free' t-shirt included is just a beach t-shirt really.

Sydney attraction pass

Agnes V, Nov 2019
Was good but some of the attractions could be done on your own and cost less. Also not enough time to see the Blue Mountains. Takes 2 hours both ways and need way more time to get your value out of this one. Only saw 3 on this tour.

Read it carefully!

leahbrendan, Sep 2019
Good value but don't do what I did and accidentally get the big bus tour (thinking it was part of the deal and not one of my 5 excursions) then get to the Zoo and have to pay full price. Gutted!

Response from Host, Sep 2019

Hi leahbrendan, Thanks for your feedback and great to hear you saw the value in the iVenture Attraction Pass. As you would have learned all included attractions will deduct 1 ticket from your pass. We do have a few bonus attractions that will be advertised as "Show and Save" offers on our website. These do not require a ticket, simply show your iVenture Card for additional savings! Now that you've experienced Sydney with iVenture we would love to offer you a discount on your next Melbourne or Gold Coast trip! Please contact our reservations team for an exclusive discount. Cheers, iVenture Card Australia

Hard to find pickup locations

Quest211866, Mar 2019
Hard to find pickup location at darling harbor. The instructions should say next to the hard rock cafe since no one at mall was aware of the location.

Make time to see these attractions...

Pamela J, Oct 2018
Make time to see these attractions. Especially the aquarium. We planned to spend about an hour at the aquarium. We were there much longer than that. We didn't expect to enjoy it as much as we did and ran out of time. The opera house tour was fascinating as well. Unfortunately, as I said we ran out of time and didn't visit the zoo. I would purchase this again if I get the chance to go back to Sydney.

You get a lot of bang for your buck! I really enjoyed myself on these attractions. Felt bad for the tiger at the zoo : But that aside, I had a decent time there.

I was disappointed as the description does not tell you that the hop on hop off bus and harbor tour are one of the choices for this package thought the rest of the package was good. We only used 2 of the 5 events of the package. We did enjoy the Opera House and the Zoo.

Good we saw the aquarium and the opera house but we did not see the zoo because we dont have time and if you go to the blue mountain you will see a zoo over all it was good

Jon C, Feb 2018
Sydney has public transportation to get around to these attraction but know you need to get a prepaid Opal card from select booths. You can refill them at many locations but only get a card at certain locations. This made getting to all these places much easier. The Taronga Zoo is special and we were treated very nicely with a volunteer taking us around one of the animal of Australia section for some 30 minutes. Toured the Opera House, OMG what a sight that was. The Aquarium was just okay. Kids might really like it, however.

This is a good deal for the price...

Jeane_C, Jan 2018
This is a good deal for the price. You can choose how you to use your passes, although some of them do cost extra. They are good for 3 months so if you are visiting Sydney for a longer time or have a stop there and then return there while traveling, you can use the pass both times. We went to the zoo, the aquarium, the hop on and off bus and the water taxi which was the best part of all, great 90 minutes of cruise time around the harbor. The hop on and off bus can be taken to Bondi beach or around Sydney. They give you headphones and you can listen to a tour guide telling you about the different parts of the city if you want to know more. I learned more on this trip then on the actual Bus tour of the city and Bondi Beach, which also cost more. This attraction pass ticket is worth the money if you are going to do several attractions in the Sydney area.

Good value if you plan your time...

David_N, Jan 2018
Good value if you plan your time carefully. Taronga Zoo is fantastic and we spent a whole day there which obviously reduced the time available for other attractions. The Hop on Hop-off bus gave us a great overview of Sydney which meant we could easily find our way around afterwards. We would never have found the Chinese Garden of Friendship, an oasis of tranquillity, without it. When we went up the Sydney Tower we paid the additional charge to do the Skywalk which, even as someone not over-keen on heights, was well worthwhile. The were two disappointments. The brochure of attractions we were given when we picked up the card gave the clear impression that the Captain Cook Cruises whale watching cruise was included. It shows the iVenture Card but in very small print states that you must have the Flex Attractions Pass. The person at the stand where we picked up the card did not really know enough to help. We also were disappointed with the Opera House tour which really did not tell or show us much that you couldn't have seen just by walking around.

Tanisha_M, Jan 2018
Definitely worth the money. When we saw how much each activity cost we were so glad we bought the package. The Opera house was worth it but make sure you go ahead of time and book your time for the tour. Your pass needs to be redeemed for actual tickets at most of the places. The Aquarium was not worth the time or money. Very small and hot in the summer, no air conditioning.

The use of the iVenture card in Sydney was easy to use. Just pick it up from iVenture and use it. We used ours at the Hop On and Hop Off bus - a great way to see the city, the Taronga Zoo - a great zoo, the Tower Eye - nice views of the city.

Greg, Dec 2017
Great value for seeing many attractions in Sydney. We arrived late on a Friday afternoon and I was able to walk from my hotel in Circular Quay to pick up my passes by Pier 6 with no issues. We started with the Hop-on Hop-off Bus which did require an additional 10 payment, followed by The Sydney Eye, and the Opera House Tour. On day two, since it was raining, we used the Captain Cook boats to shuttles us to The Sydney Aquarium, Zoo, and Madam Tussaud's which were all covered by the pass.

Cheap and fast way to visit most of the attractions. This pass forces you to see as many attractions as possible, since you want the value for your money ;)

docvince6ii7, Nov 2017
The card is OK. But the manager at the Quay near wharf 6 MISHA is the worst! She definitely should 'NOT' be in the tourist industry! I think the Army will be best suited for her. Our first time in Sydney and we got the worst treatment! We were asking her about Viator and our ticket and she kept directing us to different places and shouting at us. I am sure this is not the first time it happened with a tourist. Instead of explaining got it now that Viator is just like a marketing area used by agencies. She just Shouted, No! We are not connected with viator go this booth and that!! Instead of explaining nicely. If they have anything against Viator why do they bother to put Ads here? How she got to be manager in the tourist profession I will never know. Not a good example for her subordinates to follow. And does NOT give good image of Sydney, Australia. She does not do justice for such a beautiful city. Thankfully not all Australians are like her! Remember the name, MISHA and then look for someone else to talk to. You have been warned!

Pamela T, Oct 2017
The 3day pass was nice. No hassles with standing in line to get tickets. So much to see and do, couldn't do it all in just 3 days. Really enjoyed the attractions we visited. Not enough time to see Blue Mountains or caves. It would take a whole day to see each of those areas. I guess if you're willing to sight see non stop, you might get to most of the attractions. Next time we'll probably get tickets to certain attractions instead of pass. It'd be less expensive for us. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We really enjoyed our time in Sydney.

Ameet S, Oct 2017
Best deal ever you just have to plan accordingly and manage your time throughout the day. Only issue with this they did not honor the lunch at Hard Rock Cafe or blue fish because I got the unlimited pass which they didn't tell you.

Jimmy C, Oct 2017
Took the Captain Cook Hop-on-Hop-off ferries. They were clean, spacious and not overcrowded unlike the Public Ferries. Stopped at Watsons Bay that had a tiny beach, a beautiful walk to the Lighthouse and you can see the cliffs and pounding seas beyond. Stopped at Manly Beach. A nice tourist area with lots of shops. Beach was great. Also went to Taronga Zoo. A great ride on the Cable Car to the Zoo. The Zoo has sweeping views of Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Also went to Luna Park. Sea Life Aquariums is disappointing because of the limited displays. Madamme Tussaud is great. Sydney Tower Eye is a good experience to see the city. Sydney Opera House tour is great inside look at restricted areas within the building, highly recommend this. The Australian Maritime Museum is a must. I love the submarine and the wooden Endeavour boat.
