Leasurly 1.5h kayak paddle in the lagoon with Leroy our very informative and fun guide! We saw nice boats and yachts, iguanas, marine life and nice scenery along the bay!

Casey was a great guide. We really enjoyed chatting with him. He took time to show us all the wildlife that we certainly would not have found on our own. The crabs and iguana tend to blend in with the rocks so he made sure to point them out. He took us to a shallow area in the lagoon and showed us, jellyfish, starfish, sea urchins and a sea cucumber. If you are a novice I suggest you go on a low wind day as there are a few spots where paddling against the wind can get tough. We made it, but Casey does have a tow rope to give you a hand if needed.

Was our first time ocean...

Was our first time ocean kayaking. KC explained everything to us, gave us safety tips to ensure we were prepared to tackle differences between ocean and lake paddling. He was informative about the area, history of both French and Dutch sides of the lagoon and the island as well as the wildlife he ensured we were able to see. We had primarily booked this tour to get a close up view of the Superyachts and sailboats but KC made the experience so much better than that. He told us great stories and made us laugh (a lot). Would highly recommend spending a few hours with KC experiencing the beauty of Simpson Bay Lagoon.

Kayaking in St Maarten

We loved our kayaking experience! The staff had every ready for is and took care in explaining how to use the kayaks and paddle properly. We were experienced kayakers so it was easy to pick up. John and Casey were exceptional guides and took great care of us. One note about arrival. We drove a rental care to the pickup point. There was nothing in the directions about where to park a car. There is a huge parking lot in front of the Cocky Turtle which is perfect for drop offs and parking. There is no need to go to the Buccaneer Bar. It just adds complication to the directions! Please pass this info to other folks who take this wonderful tour
