Comfortable air conditioned van with good views Flexible on stop times. On time with pickup and drop off Excellent driver provided lots of information and history of the island, past and present. Circumnavigated the entire island giving a great sense of the space. Frien, courteous, professional, respectful.

Bad island great tour

Changed Tour Without Notice

We paid $110 for a tour we did not receive. Because they failed to sell enough spots, they moved us to a completely different tour, at a different location and different start time than what was clearly stated in Viator messages. The only communication we received was a vague “pick up time changed to 9:30am,” when the actual tour start time was 10:00am. There was no explanation, no notice that we had been switched, and no opportunity to decline. We were placed on an Adventure tour we intentionally did not choose, because it was not what we wanted. This was a bait-and-switch experience and extremely unprofessional. Paying customers should not be forced into a different product due to the company’s poor planning.

Not as advertised

The bus was super hot for the first 45 min until he finally turned on the a/c. The guide, while very generous on giving our drinks, did not tell us anything about the island at all, other than there were some statutes in the roundabouts that were about freedom fighters. We stopped to feed iguanas and one photo op, and had 15 min in the French part to buy a pastry. Maho beach was nice, we were there for about an hour and a half, then they dropped off my party at some shopping and took everyone else back to the ship and that was that. We took a cab back.about half the people took their own cab back from Maho because the bus was so hot.

Fabulous tour of St. Marteen

Fabulous tour. The price was great for our tour for five hours. Our guide Maìlman was knowlegable, thoughtful and such a great person to talk to. He is totally informed about the history and facts of the island and even provided refreshments throughtout the tour. We were taken to great photo spots and to the must see areas of each side of the island. I would highly recommend this tour. Ask for Maìlman as your guide. He will not disappoint.

John was our driver/tour guide. He was wonderful. He showed us the island sights along with essential commentary. He was attentive to everyone’s wants and needs. For instance half of the group wanted to spend time at a beach the other half wanted shopping. He took care of both groups without difficulty. I hope if you ever take this tour you get John. He’s the best.

Disorganized, Delayed

David the tour guide gets 5/5. Otherwise 0/5 Excursion was very disorganized and inexcusably delayed, no reason given. Viator emailed us tickets with attached meeting place as Philipsburg that was difficult to locate regardless of google map, asking people in the area. At cost to us, we had hired a taxi to take us to Philipsburg, only to get a phone call en route that the tour rep was in our hotel lobby to pick us up. Eventually we found the ‘pickup point’, the trip was delayed over 2 hours No update was given on what was going on despite many employees sitting around who all appeared very disengaged. No refreshment/water offered while we waited. Told to board a cramped, hot vehicle. Then told to come out as a/c not working. Eventually left in another cramped vehicle but a least air conditioning was working. Trip also felt rushed, but understandable because was advertised as 4 hours. Will reiterate David was very pleasant, and informative, the only saving grace of our experience.

Not what we expected-disappointed

We were supposed to have sightseeing and shopping for 4 1/2 hours and only had 2 1/2 hours and hardly any shopping and we had to ask for that! John was good ut did not do a lot of narrating and giving history or fun facts. We only got one shopping stop and we had to ask for that because he was just driving straight through. We were disappointed. The van was good and John did ok. Make sure you are getting what you paid for because the other couple in the van with us was on a completely different excursion than we were!! We won't be using them again.

Our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly. He made the experience very fun. The itinerary also covered a lot of the highlights of the island and you felt like you got a full experience since you would drive around most of the coast. I wish we had more time when we stopped at the market in order to explore since it was also around lunch time. But otherwise, it was a great time. Another thanks to them if they read this review!

Wonderful tour! Simply put, but the truth. We didn't like the options available on our cruise for this port so we opted to book this tour for St. Maarten and were so glad we did. We met our guide, Anthony, a short walk from the pier. I was concerned about finding the meeting place but it was no problem. We left promptly at 10am and got on our way. We made several stops during the course of the trip all of which were fantastic. Our favorite was a brief stop at a location where dozens of iguana's lived and we had the chance to feed them. We didn't bring our bathing suits but LOVED the beach stops simply to stare at the gorgeous water. We unfortunately had an upcoming rain storm at our visit to the beach at the airport but still got to experience the take off and landing of a few airplanes, definitely somewhere we would like to visit again. Anthony was a very gentle and careful driver--not something we saw on other islands! I would, without a doubt, recommend this tour to anyone who is looking for an excursion. It met every expectation we had plus many more.
