Feeding Monkeys was Not what I had in Mind for Gibraltar

We were 6 in total for this private tour. I do suggest the driver have some type of audio put into the van--We were unable to hear him in the back. It was a Rough Ride. Don't know if it was the shocks on the vehicle or the road, but believe it was a combination. This tour is essentially a transfer into Gibraltar -Then you are handed off to a British Driver to tour the Rock. Our Spanish Driver/guide accompanied us on the Gibraltar tour. My associates were confused with who to follow. While our Spanish Transfer Driver/Guide meant well, he distracted our group from the tour , with feeding the Monkeys. Which our British Guide warned us not to do. We missed much of our exploring the tunnels, due to our Spanish Driver feeding the Monkeys. I would not recommend this transfer/tour if you want to explore Gibraltar. Do it on your own.

What an amazing experience, most importantly with Ricci, our guide, who was without the doubt the best guide we’ve had! Gregarious, friendly, helpful, with information that was interesting and not overbearing. Knew when to let us explore on our own, and guided by him. We chatted all the way there and back on all things. He truly sees his mission as making the visitors see his country (and Gibraltar) in the best, honest, and open way. No question was left unanswered. A person with a degree in environmental Biology, he was conversant on the climates and micro climates, animals and insects. We also had Mustafa, the whisperer to the monkeys. We had the best driving, information, patience and monkey pictures. He brought their favorite foods, and we got the best pictures with each of my teens and parents, with the monkeys happily perched on our shoulders. Oh so much fun! The clouds parted to allow a glimpse of Africa, we had the best fish and chips (we know England well, and these were legit), and a day that allowed us all to enjoy the very new and comfortable Mercedes van rides as well. What a great day we would happily repeat if we come back to this area! Thank you Ricci…you need to start the tour of your home town, the distillery and the bakery! Gracias!!!!

Alex was a wonderful guide - he was so knowledgeable and friendly, and we had the best day with him! We also loved our local Gibraltar guide Mustafa - he was so funny and personable and great with my kids/teens. We thoroughly enjoyed our day! Great tour and Gibraltar was a must-see for us during our time in Spain.

We took a trip from Seville to Gibraltar. The car was comfortable with plenty of room for the 4 adults on our tour. The tour in Gibraltar was fantastic. Great job by the guides we had where they helped us when needed but also let us roam areas in our own. Our whole group had an awesome time!
