Itinerary

Start with pickup at your Seville hotel for a 7:30 departure, then travel to the city of Tarifa, on the edge of the narrow waterway that divides Europe from Africa. Arrive in Tarifa at roughly 11am to catch a ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar, covering the 9-mile (13-km) crossing in roughly one hour.

Upon arrival in Tangier, a local guide will introduce you to the city on a several hour walking tour of the medina—this is the oldest part of the city, with a blend of Moorish, colonial, Moroccan, and Andalusian architecture. Follow winding streets past cozy cafes and shops, tracing the paths of the many artists and writers who have flocked to the colorful neighborhood for generations.

At the end of your walking tour, return to the Port of Tangier to board a return ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar. A driver will meet you on the other side for the trip to Seville, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel at roughly 10:30pm.

Long Fun Journey

Erica_T, Mar 2026
The guides were knowledgable, friendly and funny and made the atmosphere comfortable for a solo traveler. We saw a good mix of culture, religion, real life, and natural surroundings. Susanna and Jose and Rishan were the best!

Maybe check out a private tour

Margaret_H, Sep 2025
Badly organised pick up, changed the time from 8.30am to 7.15 am and then 6.15am. But no one came at 6.15am! When the office staff came they said the pick up was not 6.15am. I had to show them the message they sent me before anyone believed me! Driver spoke in Spanish to the other people in the van the whole way. Pretty much ignored us. Getting on ferry was also a shambles. Got off ferry and was met by Rasheed, he seemed ok Got driven around in a bus for a few hours. Saw a random cave with paintings that was supposed to be Hercules cave? Went to lunch, a long walk up a hill to the kasbah but we didn’t go inside the kasbah, so that walk was a waste of time. Taken to a shop where guide gets commission, he told us he did. Then we were let loose in the market for 1.5 hours before rejoining the group. Went back to ferry terminal, more drama with long lines at immigration. Husband was sent back because passport guy didn’t stamp his passport properly! He nearly missed the ferry. Long drive back to Seville. Got back to hotel at 11.45pm. It was a long and disappointing day. The group of 47 was too big for the one guide to successfully manage

Run away

Danny_C, Jun 2025
Run away! They are scammers and liars. They kept changing the time of when we were supposed to leave. I got to the location 45 minutes early and no one showed up, when we reached out they told us 3 different times when someone was there waiting for us, while we were still waiting for someone to show up. They said it was our fault and did not give a refund.

Memorable Fantastic Tour Totally Recommended!

Hilda_R, Nov 2024
JuanRA was our awesome tour guide from Seville & Rachid was our energetic guide while in Tangier, Morocco. Raul was our excellent driver. Both of our tour guides were very knowledgeable about the information provided. We felt safe at all times. The ferry transportation & passport check went smoothly. We loved the camel ride, visiting the museum, shopping, free time. We loved everything! They made the tour super special & celebrated my b-day during our lunch. The meal was delicious! They even got me roses! I totally recommend this tour. The meeting point is easy to find. It was very memorable & fantastic!

Not recommended

Louis_G, Oct 2024
We did not enjoy this trip. Several concerns : our local guide’s English was mediocre at best. He seemed more interested in moving things along rather than narrating. There was not much to see on the panoramic city tour. Tanger was just a series of standard low level tourist shops that could have been anywhere in the world. In addition the two promotional stops for woolens and one for spices were a waste of time leaving only 30 minute free time. Not worth the 2.5 hour bus ride plus an hour ferry ride

Wouldn’t recommend it and could have been better.

Gary_S, Sep 2024
The van ride was not comfortable. The spice and weaving sales pitches were a waste of time. The bus tour in Morroco was good.

Good but could be much better

Gareth_W, Sep 2024
The tour itself was great but 48 people is far too many for a single group, which cut into the enjoyment a little and limited our time at some places. If this were run with half that number or less it could have been much tighter. I also question two sales pitches being part of the group (one for textiles, one for natural remedies). Not that they werent interesting but I'm not a huge fan of being made to sit through a presentation during what's meant to be a relaxing vacation.

DON’T TAKE THIS TOUR

Ronford_M, Aug 2024
The most memorable part of the experience was the rude, disgusting, disrespectful piece of trash that was at the reception desk at Rastro St. 12A on August 24, 2024. Email stated 8:30 AM pick up at that location, at 8:25 the trash at the desk made it clear as flippant and rude a demeanour as she could muster that the driver has left 15 minutes before. Completely unhelpful. We had to press her for a solution. Irritated, her exasperation on full display, she decided to call the driver. We took a cab to the next pick up point. Our Spain side guide was an amateur. Unprepared and an obvious novice at communicating and controlling a crowd. The company added insult to injury by offering to pay my cab fare. Here is the great customer service, I had to take another cab to one of their offices to pick up reimbursement for my taxi fare!!! I declined their offer and they had a brilliant idea; they delivered the reimbursement to my hotel!!! Do yourself a favour, don’t take this tour!!!

Get ready for a long, long day

James_T, Aug 2024
Interesting in concept but a heck of a long day. We had football tickets for the same night as we were told we would return to Seville by 20:30. Then the guide said 22:30 but we did not return until midnight. Had it been a great trip I would probably not have minded. It was not a great trip. The entire ferry ride over was spent standing in line waiting for Moroccan passport control to enter our passports into the system. The tour was fine until we were frog marched twice into sales pitches for items we were not interested in like perfumes and holistic medicines. Add to that the lunch where we had to pay exorbitant prices for drinks like water and colas. Then the constant, and I mean constant, street sellers who just will not take no for an answer. All this added up to an experience that I cannot recommend to anyone.

Fun - TONS of walking - worth a giggle!

CathyJ_B, Jul 2022
Thankfully - we had the BEST group of people who joined in......let's face it: You are together for a VERY LONG DAY! One needs to understand that there is a TON of walking hills and steps and hills! A total blast...but please recognize that some of this trip is packed with visiting vendors (who are friends of your tour guide) and ENDLESS hackers who surround you asking you to buy crap. Smile and know that this is how they make a living.....not a great tour for anyone with a quick temper!

the tour was not much of a tour but...

kkjhamb, May 2017
the tour was not much of a tour but more like an opportunity for the guide in Morocco to take us around on a shopping trip to his friend's shops. There was very little in the way of history and culture that was imparted to us. it could have been so much better but instead it was just a glorified shopping trip. it should have included some historical sites and information. I would not sign up for this again.

Since we were in the South of Spain...

Karen W, May 2017
Since we were in the South of Spain, we wanted to add a visit to Morocco, and this was an easy way to do it. Our guide, Lupita, picked us up at our hotel and from there it was about a 2 1/2 hour ride to port. She was outstanding and shared interesting information along the way. She was extremely helpful in helping us check in at the port. The ferry ride is only about 40 minutes and another guide met us when we arrived to help us with our passport. Be prepared for long lines for the passport. Once we were gathered, a tour guide in Morocco then collected us and to give us an overview and took us for a quick ride and photo opportunity on a camel. That part was fun! Our guide then drove us to the old part of the city for a walking tour. It was beautiful and full of color. The walking tour was interesting and our guide was easy to understand and well informed. We then had a traditional Moroccan lunch, which was a great experience. Once the tour was over, I was hoping to see more, but we were disappointed in the remainder of the afternoon, which turned in to a shopping adventure. Our first stop was a rug shop. This would have been fine to see, but it turned in to a sales demonstration. The next stop was to a pharmacy where they sold herbs that was also a demonstration, and the 3rd stop was an antique shop of sorts that also sold jewelry. This is not how we wanted to spend the short time we had in Tangiers. After that it was time to go back to the port. We would have much preferred walking and learning more about Tangiers vs in shops. This is not a place where you want to be with out a guide. They help navigate the area, but you also have so many people on the streets coming up to you to try to sell stuff that they help protect you a bit from that, so I am glad we had a tour. However, the time spent after lunch was a complete disappointment. We were happy to see Lupita when we arrived back at the port and she once again was extremely helpful to help us get back to the bus. She was a welcome site by then! We arrived back in our hotel late in evening, so be prepared for a long day. We would also recommend that if you don't eat lunch, that you eat some snacks on the ferry or take some with you. We arrived back at our hotel after 11:00 pm which was too late for dinner.

No es el mejor tour

Fernando_E, Jan 2025

Esperemos volver a verle pronto.

Supero expectativas

DUNIA_C, Nov 2023
Muchas gracias
