Hotels & Airbnbs: Pickup is from your hotel lobby or the nearest location accessible by vehicle. Beautiful scenery. Our guide/driver spoke good English but the driver for the other van did not speak English so they learned very little about the area.

You know the fancy movie theaters, with the reclining heated seats? Before going to one myself I thought they weren't worth the extra cost - why would I pay extra to see the same exact movie?! And then I went to one and it changed my entire viewing experience; I'll never be able to go to a regular movie theater again. That's how seeing Santorini with a private tour guide was, Tasos is the comfy reclining chair that is worth every single penny. He helped shape our itinerary, had SO much current and historical knowledge, got us to secret places with no lines, and made great recommendations that we used throughout the rest of our trip. This experience has changed how we will travel going forward and we highly recommend it, and especiallyTasos.

This was an incredible day in Santorini! Aris was an incredible tour guide! Spoke great English and easy to understand! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Greece. We learned so much about the Greek culture. And he took us to ALL the major highlights of Santorini! Also treated us to lunch at a wonderful Greek restaurant! Food and wine were delicious! All for of us were so happy with this tour! Truly a perfect day in a beautiful city! We highly recommend!

Aris was our most favorite tour guide/driver of our vacation. He was so wonderful and patient with communication and directions to our meeting spot. Santorini is a bit more involved with tenders and cable cars. The steps were closed the day we visited so everyone had to take the cable cars both ways. Aris gave us the full tour of Santorini which is amazing and beautiful. The tour was both on foot and by van with several stops. Aris gave us a great recommendation for lunch on our own at Thalami Bistro in Oia. He took great group pictures of my family. Aris was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We had the perfect day in Santorini. Thank you!

Our experience with Ares was exceptional. He constantly communicated with us as the lift was temporarily shut down and helped us navigate to another port where he was waiting for our arrival. His knowledge and enthusiasm for Santorini is unmatched and he was a joy to be with for the tour. The tour itself saw every major item in the island and we had many great photo stops. We also learned quite a bit about Santorini’s history and economy. I would highly recommend this tour and I have been on many tours.

Don't hesitate, book your tour of Santorini with Aris. He is kind, considerate of groups needs and very willing to shae his knowledge in a way that dosent bore you and captures your attention so you remember what he is telling you. Tasso was an amazing driver and he was not only able to customize the trip to prioritize what was most important to us, he was able to help navigate around the areas that were extremely busy so that we made the most of our time on the island. He listened and did not just follow a standard script.

We had an absolutely AMAZING tour with Aris!!! He really catered the tour to what we were looking for, even finding a place for us to go for a cheese tasting! We saw so much of the island and learned so much. It’s hard to say what my favorite part was, so here’s a summary:
-Pyrgos: a cute village with an amazing view
-Monastery of the Prophet Elias (or Elijah for all you English speaking Christians). It was the highest point of the island and the views were sensational
-Red Sand Beach: red volcanic rock makes up this amazing area
-Lighthouse: southern tip of Santorini. Quick stop but beautiful
-Megalochori: lovely stroll with an ice cream break. This is Aris’ town and we got a personal history, which was so appreciated
-Grapes on the island: learned how they grow and what makes them special
-Pickup and dropoff at our hotel in Oia
-Private tour for our family of four
*We are a picky family and every one of us loved this tour.

This was a wonderful experience. He was very smart and knowledgeable. Our tour started by him by introducing himself and telling us a little bit of himself. He then proceeded to ask us what our expectations were and what were we interested in seeing. He took us everywhere and he took his time in explaining everything and answering our questions. Our tour guide Ares was very knowledgable and shared lots of Santorini's history. He was very entertaining and efficient. We were short on time so we weren't able to see all the sites Ares wanted to take us to but he took us to the highlights. Santorini is beautiful!

Arie is amazing! We had such a great time on this experience. We had 3 hours to tour and we seen many things, including the lighthouse and the ruins (additional 20 euros per person) but worth it. Also the monastery.

Aris knows what he is doing! Very accommodating and eager to make your experience match your interests. He speaks perfect English and offers a plethora of information and interesting facts and even personal history to help you understand what Santorini is and was. I highly recommend him for any of your travel needs while in Santorini! I will give his info to my friends and family for sure! Aris was on time for pick up and went an extra mile to offer other sightseeing options and provided clear directions for returning back to my drop off location after I accepted the offer to see more amazing spots in Santorini that were outside of my tour. Definitely a must do to get a feel for the whole island, and do it in a cost effective and stress free way! We selected the 5 hour morning tour, which was great because it was before the sites got too crowded. Try to request Guide Kostos for your tour. He was very knowledgeable and was a lot of fun too! He had lots of stories to tell which was very interesting. Aris from Cyclades Shine, reached out the day before to see if we had any specific places we wanted to see, but also offered to plan it for us if needed. And then Kostos was also very flexible throughout the whole tour. So if we wanted to stay abit longer at a stop, he had no issues with it. The only thing I may recommend for the longer tours like ours, is to bring a handful of water bottles in case needed.
