Easy walking tour without hills or steps. Our tour guide, Helena, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. She added interesting stories to every historical building and to every historical fact. Helena was able to recommend many restaurants, Michelin, restaurants, details about various architectural styles in the city, And the celebration of several important holidays that correspond with historical dates. She was cheerful and entertaining during the entire walking tour.

My wife and I met up with Helena outside the City Hall, 5 mins before the tour started. There was only 1 other group booked on, but they had cancelled so it was just the 2 of us.
Helena was great, she provided lots of information about San Sebestian, inckuding the best Pinchos places to try. Her english is very good.
The walk lasts about 90 mins,
highly recommended.

We had a great time and learned a lot about the city. The guide is very knowledgeable and helpful. The history of San Sebastián is so much, 90 minutes is just for the surface.

Descubre focuses on small group tours, and we wound up with a very small group for a 10am tour (just my wife and I)! Helena was a knowledgeable guide, answered all of our questions, and made recommendations for pintxos! Her English is very good. It took probably 90 minutes in total, and the walking was all on flat ground and covered about 1.5 km (a little under a mile).

Helena was a wonderful guide. She summarized the history of this beautiful place very well as we walked through various sections of the town . She highlighted why the Basque region has its own language and has maintained its strong identity within Spain. A very well rounded presentation. Highly recommend it.

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic walking tour of San Sebastián, and we owe much of that to our wonderful guide, Helena. From the moment the tour started, Helena impressed us with her deep historical knowledge of the city and the Basque region. Her passion for the area's rich culture and history truly brought San Sebastián to life for us.
The scenic views we encountered were simply breathtaking, and Helena knew exactly where to take us for the best photo opportunities. She also had amazing recommendations for pintxos, and every place she suggested was spot on—we enjoyed some of the most delicious bites we've ever had!
What made the tour even more special was how Helena went above and beyond to accommodate my pregnant wife. Helena was incredibly considerate, ensuring we took a brief bathroom break when needed without missing a beat in the tour. Her friendly and accommodating nature made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire experience.
If you're visiting San Sebastián, I can't recommend this tour—and especially Helena—highly enough. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Helena was a lovely guide through this fabulous city and provided a useful commentary on the history. Might need to fact check some of the historical royalty references (different stories told to signage we found later) but a good tour nonetheless
