This tour was fabulous. Our tour guide worked at the culinary school at the University in San Sebastian. He was very knowledgeable and took us to some of the best pinxtos in the city. We had a great time and I highly recommend booking this tour.

We had one night in San Sebastian so we could not afford to search and wander for the right pintxos. So we booked with Esky. Esky was a fantastic tour guide tailoring our pintxos stops based on our food preferences. We has a great time with the other couple who participated on the tour with us. My teenage son got to experience new foods and learned how to pour a sidra inro a glass. Esky encouraged sharing and tasting while making sure the kitchen delivered the best pintxos. Nothing was served pre- made. It was either hot and fresh or it was not accepted by Esky. Sure you can good with a cheaper tour and go to all the tourist favorites but I feel booking with a local who will provide a more personal experience is worth the price

I went with my family, and we had a great experience. What made the experience the most memorable was the personality of the tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the spot, clearly loved by the locals, and we enjoyed eating our way through the restaurants in the old town. Highly recommend!!😀

Just awesome. We’ve done food tours in Dijon, Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, Bologna, Reykjavik and more. None better than this.
One example. We went to a place my friend and I had already visited. But she had the Pintxos freshly made and it was a different experience.
If you are looking for a food tour and skip hers you are having a lesser experience.
I would do again if I came back because she would curate a different tour.

We had a wonderful time and learned a lot about culture and the pintxos scene. It was very helpful to get insight on what to order and what to avoid. It also helped give us insight on the specialities of each bar as they are different. I’m glad we did the tour and felt that it was worth the time and money.

My friend and I had a wonderful time on the Evening Pintxo Tour with Eski. She was personable, knowledgeable and fun in spite of the pouring rain we encountered during most of our tour. She introduced to different types of pintxo bars and encouraged us to try a variety of different pintxos, as well as cider and txcholi. It was nice to be able to bypass the long lines at many of the places we visited in addition to getting to try Basque Cheesecake at La Vina, the night before they went on holiday. I think this was one of our most memorable experiences in San Sebastian. I have recommended this tour with Eski to my friends that are planning visits there. Thanks so much, Eski!

Delightful, and generous with her energy, I was thoroughly impressed by Esky.
Providing a level of integrity and professionale for her craft which I've never experienced before.
The tour was PURE FUN and had depth provided by an award winning tour guide. Literally a world class experience and I was sad to see the night end.
Also, be ready to meet the whole town, because she's quite the local celebrity, talk about the "people's - people". As a people person myself, she stood as a good reminder of what high quality is.

Eski was very entertaining and informative...she is obviously a legend in the streets of San Sebastion, greeting friends and acquaintances frequently. Eski was able to provide me with an Iberico ham experience which was excellent.

I have tried three pintxos tours during my stay and this tour with Eskerne is without doubt the best.
You are given a choice of pintxos and drinks at some of the restaurants which I really liked plus the choice of restaurants was outstanding.
Eskerne Is a brilliant hostess, incredibly informed & friendly, she has a great relationship with the various restaurants. Despite how busy they were, she always managed to be served quickly. The pintxos themselves were delicious. It can be intimidating going to these bars but Eskerne showed us how it’s done.
Great value for money, recommend 100%!
