The booking says 1.5hrs so being that we started at 9am, we shouldn't have finished until 10:30am. Unfortunately we were out of the water, back at the van just after 10am. Also, most of the group did not see a turtle (Luna and the couple of people at the front of the group with her saw 1 for a little, but that was all). I know seeing turtles is not guaranteed of course, but it was still disappointing. We did get to see a giant sting ray buried in the sand and of course, lots of fish and sea urchins. I felt the safety briefing beforehand was really well done and felt prepared to snorkel in this area. Luna has a very charismatic personality and did a good job trying to find us things to see in the water. At the end when we were giving back the equipment, I had my own personal snorkel mask with prescription lenses. I went to hand them in with everything else when my husband reminded me to not give my mask. I was having a hard time getting the mask off the breathing tube, so Luna was helping. Unfortunately we got distracted and they kept the mask. I reached out multiple ways to confirm they have my mask the next day. I still haven't received a reply from the company, so I ended up using the what's app Luna sent us through videos and pictures from. She said she'd check with the other staff, but I haven't heard back. The communication even before the tour was a little lacking as I had to reach out in multiple ways to get a pre tour question answered. Overall, it was a pretty good snorkelling experience, but I'd say a little expensive for what we got. The pictures and videos are a nice touch. It would be really nice if they could pick up from the cruise port.

To clarify, for a 9:00 AM tour, check-in begins at 8:30 AM, and the advertised 1.5 hour experience includes check-in, equipment preparation, safety briefing, guided snorkeling, and check-out.
Wildlife sightings naturally vary, although our guides always work hard to provide the best experience possible.
Regarding personal equipment, guests are responsible for their belongings; while we understand you contacted the guide directly, we did not receive a request through our booking platforms or administration regarding the mask.
We currently do not offer cruise-port pickup; however, our meeting location is approximately a 7-minute drive away and easily accessible by Uber or taxi.

So fun! Jeremy made us feel safe and ensured we all had an amazing time with multiple sightings of sea turtles and cool fish—and also provided us with fabulous action photo shots afterward. I highly recommend booking this excursion!

Our guide was very patient and thorough as most in the group had not snorkeled before. He was very attentive throughout the activity, and made us feel safe. I also loved that the group was small. Total of seven people.

Even though it was windy and the water was murky, it was fun and we were able to see turtles, lionfish, octopus and beautiful fish. The guides were great and I particularly appreciated their lessons and help before we got started.

Misinformation from Viator. Meeting place was wrong. Took forever and another vendor calling to find our group. We were told by viator chat there was no where to leave valuables so we left our cell phones at hotel. When we finished tour no taxis to be found, we had no way to all an Uber and had it not have been for another vendor calling one for us we might have been stuck there for a long time. Our tour guide , Andrew was awesome. Unfortunately no turtles were seen. Disappointed with Viator for giving us wrong info..

We’re truly sorry for the confusion caused by the information received through Viator. In addition to Viator’s directions, our team sends guests a map and meeting point instructions prior to the tour. We also provide secure dry bins on site for personal belongings during the experience.
Regarding wildlife sightings, we understand the disappointment; however, as this is a natural environment, turtle encounters can never be guaranteed.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve communication and coordination with third-party platforms to prevent situations like this in the future.

The guide was super nice and got to see a lot of turtles and fish. My mask breathing tube was apparently broken (I didn’t even really notice I just thought I was really bad at it) They tried to fix it while we were in the water but couldn’t. I didn’t really care and I had a great time anyway. I have asthma so breathing through the tube was a challenge either way. Still an amazing time and would definitely recommend. The photos and videos came out great too.

Water was brown and visibility is poor. Like snorkeling in a swamp. 1 turtle. A bunch of debris and some rocks. Jacob, the guide, was nice. Photos deceiving.

Our snorkeling location naturally has blue water, though visibility can vary depending on weather conditions, tides, and other natural factors. While some occasional debris can be present due to ocean currents, the water is not brown and is nothing like a swamp.

I had a good time on the VIP San Juan Snorkeling Tour with Turtles! Luna, our guide, was really sweet and knowledgeable, making the experience enjoyable and informative. I was able to see a few turtles and some interesting fish, which was definitely a highlight.
The only downside was that the area was quite crowded with many other people snorkeling and scuba diving, which took away from the sense of exclusivity. However, the free videos provided by the tour were a nice touch and a great way to remember the experience.
Overall, it was a fun tour, and if you’re looking to see some marine life up close in San Juan, this is worth checking out!

We had a great time with Luna. She made sure we were all comfortable and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and pointing it out to us. The highlight was of course seeing the turtle. The pics and videos she provided for free were an added bonus! I’m so glad we took this tour and have pics/videos to remind us of this great time! Don’t miss this tour if you are in the area. As it was my first time snorkeling I was quite anxious and nervous, but under the guidance of Luna it became a wonderful experience. She paid full attention to my fears and made me very comfortable. We saw a beautiful turtle and swam with it for a full 2-3 minutes !! and saw lots of fishes as well. I highly recommend Luna to anyone seeking a professional and friendly snorkeling guide. All the gear used appeared to be very clean and of high quality. The video with the turtle will be cherished forever !!
