The guides were very knowledgeable and respectful of marine life. They made me feel safe. Ahead of time they warned we may not see sea turtles and that the water was murky and offered a refund if anyone didn’t want to go. I elected to continue and saw sea turtles and the water wasn’t even bad. Overall would highly recommend this company and experience!

My wife and I had a great time snorkeling! The guide was super knowledgeable and swam at a good pace for the whole group. We saw a baby manatee, turtles, sea slugs, a huge starfish, conch, and a ton of fish. It was a cool
experience and would definitely recommend.
Hope_F, Apr 2026
Must see and do. Guides were friendly and water flow shot of rum was fantastic. Did not get to see manatees but well worth the price.

Thank you so much for joining us in San Juan for snorkeling the sea turtles! Please come back again. Next time you’re here you can come try to find the manatee on us!!!! 🌺☀️🫶🏼🦭🐢🦜

Great tour! The weather was not in our favor - the current was strong and visibility was not great, but we still saw a few sea turtles, a manatee, a couple schools of fish and many conchs and starfish.
The guide was completely upfront about the conditions and offered us a full refund before getting in the water. Our kids (12 and 9) had snorkeled before in open water so we went ahead and were glad we did. The current honestly wasn't too bad at all for us and everyone had a great time.

It was strenuous. Lots of swimming, sometimes against the current. My middle aged out of shape self was able to keep up, though. 😊 And we saw some cool sea life. Would recommend

Didn’t get to experience it asked for refund was denied twice tried to go out but didn’t make it 3 feet but the water due to not being swimmers
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Ooohhhh yessss , another one!
Yes. We are sorry that you neglected that you had to SWIM TO SNORKEL. This is 100% our fault. We should have disclosed that swimming we required to snorkel , except we did though. The tour description clearly states that you must swim, along with common sense, and the viator rep we spoke to who equally refused to refund you for such nonsense.

We saw multiple manatees and turtles. It was a large group but we still had a great view of everything. They loop around to make sure everyone can see.

No boat involved just snorkel off the beach. Not ideal for novice swimmers as current is strong and was quite choppy when we did it. But didn’t disappoint we saw both turtles and manatee. Highly recommend
Response from Host, Mar 2026
What is with you people and the boat! There is no boat! Never has been , Never will be!
We offer everyone a refund upfront on days like the day of your tour becuase the water wasnt perfect; you still chose to come and you STILL found a reason to complain.
Eric_R, Mar 2026
Awful. the current was so strong, the activity should have been canceled. Literally, i had to pull my wife and daughter to shore. we saw NO sea animals. had no rum as it said. there was 1 guide in the water with at least 20 people snorkeling. the swim was grueling and dangerous. don't do it.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
the app makes us respond to these..
before entering the water you and karen were offered a refund if you thought you couldnt complete the tour as the current was strong. You refused the refund, got tired, left, and then you wife had a meltdown on the beach which is why rum wasnt offered, seeing as you had a child present. If you were an adult and spoke to me, we would have offered a refund, but the rule is; either refund or review, wrong choice.
Nikki_H, Mar 2026
We had a GREAT time. Unfortunately for us, there was a half ironman race going on the same morning which scared away the manatee, but we saw SO much other sea life! Tons of turtles, starfish, many species of tropical fish. Would recommend, and I would totally do this same excursion again
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you! Sorry the govt never informs the public of events on this island. The local govt is quite corrupt but we are glad to have you!
Justine_P, Mar 2026
For those staying in Condado, this is a must do. A quick walk across the street from our hotel gave us the rare opportunity to snorkel with turtles and manatees. The tour guides did an amazing job, with one leading the snorkeling and another spotting turtles and manatees from a bridge above of. This excursion is for decent swimmers - it requires participants to be in the water for about an hour and the swim back can be difficult if the current is strong.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you for sharing!
Elizabeth_T, Mar 2026
Loved it! Saw turtles and manatees. Manatees swam directly under me! Was amazing. Keep in mind there are no guarantees you will see anything. Also, the swim is a lot of exercise so be ready. You can try again another time if you missed out. Visibility wasn’t great, but we were forewarned that it wasn’t excellent that day. Refund offered if we didn’t want to go. There is storage at the snorkel tent, so easy to leave one of our bags with sunglasses and clothes.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you so much!

Don’t book they rude and love to harass people after tour . I was scammed and harassed . No animals was seen lmfaoo just buy your own snorkels and life vest. They was kind in person lolllll but when I requested a half refund for false advertisement they harassed me called me names and threatened me . I tried to be nice but I guess donating to the poor isn’t enough don’t waste good money on these people . As a fellow Puerto Rican I hate to meet people like this . He’ll has a special place for them. Very unhappy with treatment
Response from Host, Feb 2026
We are sorry to hear that you're not happy, however, those reading your review and sentence structure, know everything that they need to about you.
No one was yelled at or threatened, as no phone contact was made.
We recieved your refund request, and reached out by phone twice, unfortunatley you were not available. Your refund request stated that the guide did not show up?
Yet, we have the text log, and check in of you arriving early. We have video of you on the tour; which we provided to Viator, and we both decided to refuse a refund request because you could not keep your story straight. Miss, we have no idea what your issue is but please be aware that the booking apps are becoming wise to scammers who fraudulently make refund requests.
Viator denied your refund as a corporation, I refused the refund as a perosn.

What a fantastic experience. Guide was personable knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and lagoon. Had an amazing time and saw several manatees. Would do it again next time I’m here

Description is a little misleading. The guides were good, equipment was average. The water is very murky with limited visibility. We did see one turtle, no manatees. It might be a habitat but still open to the ocean, be advised of that. There is nowhere to change clothes or get a fresh water rinse on the beach, we walked to a Starbucks nearby to change. Also, you can catch the free local bus right in front of the beach to get back downtown. We won't be doing this excursion again. Have had much better snorkeling tours.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
The water THAT DAY was murky along with your understanding of how the ocean functions. Some days its nice, others its not, if its safe, youre getting in the water. Had you bothered to read even a single sentence of the description, you would kow the animals come and go, theyre not tied to rocks.
No one said there was a changing room or shower. There isnt a single beach in san juan that has a changing room in fact. only 1 has a shower
Free beaches = zero amenities.
We have to use the starbucks bathroom as well.

Rachel_B, Jan 2026
Great experience. I wasn't able to see any manatees the first time I went out, but they told me to come back for another try. I returned the next day and was able to come face to face with a manatee and even had a stingray swim right below me! Great experience and great company!
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank You so much! Although the manatees are not tied to a rock(jaja) they are always present. Thank you for allowing us to show you the manatees! also A spotted Eagle Ray! Sounds like your amazing energy was rewarded by the universe! I hope you have a wonderful year, visit again sometime!
Marcia_M, Jan 2026
The water was cloudy and we saw only 2 turtles and no manatees. No rum at the end of the experience.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
The water on the north shore of Puerto Rico tends to be rough in the winter months, from November to February, the ENTIRE NORTH coast is potentially the target for large waves and strong currents. Also, the ocean is alive , sometimes its crystal clear, sometimes its not. Sometimes its calm, sometimes its agressive. Our policy? If its safe, then we are operating.
Do you expect me to calm the waves and clear the waters each morning, sacrifice fish to posiden?
There is also plenty of rum on site, Im guessing no one offered you any because of your attitude, and as the owner, I am 100% ok with that.
Finally. You saw 2 sea turtles, 2 rare beautiful sea turtles that youve never seen before. A simple thank you would be nice but hey, whatever makes you happy lady.
Karen_M, Jan 2026
Short swim right in the bay. The mask & snorkle were surprisingly nice. The water was murky so the turtle & fish viewing wasn't ideal but the manatees hang out in that bay so the guide found them easily.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Hello! Yes this is completely accurate! The water can be cloudy in the winter months due to elevated wave heights during these months however we always give everyone a last minuite back out option if the water looks too rough BEFORE entering the water, we even have a laminated print out to ensure each group recieves the exact same message on those rough days :
Sea turtles are tricky on those cloudy days so we tend to focus on the manatees those days! Attempts are still made for the turtles as you saw however, we pretty much know to "trim the fat off the steak: with our tour. If the turtles cant be easily located for all, skip it and move to the gaint sea potatoe for everyone to enjoy! thank you so much and have a wonderful new year!
Christine_L, Dec 2025
It is a fun experience. It was my first time snorkeling and it was fine as a beginner. No experience necessary. It is a bit of a workout.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you so much! yes the waves and current in winter months in puerto rico can be challenging, none the less you all excelled and did amazing. Thank You for sharing your snorkel experience with others!
Loren_G, Dec 2025
Bring your ENTHUSIASM! Tour guide and lifeguard were both VERY professional, and despite choppy, murky water, they spotted manatees within minutes of the tour beginning. There had been a rip-tide advisory on the coast outside the lagoon all week, so I was worried the visibility would be too low to see any animals.
Despite the murkiness, we saw over a dozen varieties of fish, including Remora, Surgeonfish, Sergent Major, Agujon, and Pufferfish, as well as multiple manatee sightings (Including a shy and blurry baby!!!)
The guide mentioned the floaty potatoes pick up on positive energy and I totally felt it! One mischieviously lifted up the tour guide right out of the water just like he mentioned at the start, and the guide demonstrated proper freeze-response for an animal-led interaction prioritizing the safety and health of our sea-friends.
Then after she playfully pushed him around, she came right up to face-to-face with me! I only wish the guide had caught the beautiful moment on camera, but it will live forever in my memories! This was an INCREDIBLE experience that I'll treasure forever, and when we weren't able to find any turtles afterward, the guides were very accommodating with scheduling a follow-up tour in the days following.
Basic searches suggest that Turtles are most active foragers during the morning and evening, so I recommend the 10AM or 4PM tours, but the sea cows are active all day and there are plenty of fish taking shelter in the beautiful stone structures that have been laid across the sandy floor to encourage nesting.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you so much for your indepth review! I know it can take quite some time to type that all out, especially on your vacation, so personally, thank you, professionally, thank you very much.
Gabriel_K, Dec 2025
I went with my girlfriend and brother and saw no manatees and no turtles. Worse, they didn’t have flippers that fit and we got no rum. Not worth $250.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
We are sorry to hear that you did not have a good time. We have fins from size 4 up to 14, which covers 99% of the population. We do have rum on site for guests everyday, I can assure you as I purchase the bottles everyday, we announce it when we return to shore; we apologize if you missed it, we just dont agressivley push the rum on guests because well, we all have a past, some better than others. If the group embraces the rum, sure we make a big deal of it however; if the group shys away, we take the hint; we continue to welcome mormons, muslims, and other groups that do not drink.
I can say this, and you can all think im out of pocket for saying this but its true. Before this group entered the water, I was notified by my employees there were already some off energy in the group for whatever reason. The sea life truely senses this, and the evidence I have is that for the past week, despite the rough water,we have had sightings on EVERY tour. Yet this one group, who kind of arrived grumpy, didnt see them. **update 3 days later: stil manatees on all tours except this one tour** 1-1-26
All of that aside, we offer the same promise to you as everyone else, youre welcome to return to try again on the next tour or day for free. We hope you return with positive energy.
Kjerstin_L, Dec 2025
You snorkel at a public beach / lagoon water area, not a corral reef. Purchase a mask, snorkel, and fins from a local store and then go to any beach instead of this tour.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Hello!
Although the beach is public, like every beach in puerto rico, the marine sanctuary is off limits without a guide. Purchasing your own equipment is fine but, venturing to the santuary is off limits and subject to fines with threats of arrest. I wish you had an actual complaint to address instead of posting misinformation
Jared_H, Dec 2025
The waves and currents were strong on our excursion and so that impacted the water visibility but overall we had fun. We saw some fish, a conch shell, a star fish, and most importantly a manatee.
One piece of advice would be to schedule this trip once you are there so that you can see the water conditions and book this trip once the calmest day possible.
If everyone in your groups knows how to swim, this is something you can easily do.
I wish the guides shared some more information about the area the ecosystem there. You can’t touch anything really because it’s a reserve.
The manatee was really neat to see, I’d never seen one of them before.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thanks for the feedback!
Justin_W, Dec 2025
The guides were great! Very knowledgeable and fun. Amazing how big a sea cow is in real life. Also saw a variety of fish, sea urchins, and huge starfish.
