This was our 5th visit to Old San Juan and we were looking for new places to check out. I appreciate that they didn’t take us to the tourist traps, but to cool places we’ve walked right by on previous trips. Our tour guides Alberto and Miguel were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would take a tour with them again in a heartbeat!

A great experience! Our tour guide Jesus was phenomenal- he kept it fun and lighthearted while sharing Puerto Rican history with us while we walked through Old San Juan. A fun way to experience some tasty cocktails in a new city! I highly recommend. Jesus also gave us some great recommendations for other spots to check out in San Juan which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

We had so much fun! We got to sample three really cool restaurants that we never would have known about. I’m not a rum fan, but the mojito was amazing! The other two drinks weren’t up my alley, but it was still neat to try. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. She told us the history of the bar/restaurants as well as the history of the drinks. It was a fun family outing!

Our guide was friendly and knowledgable and the drinks served and places visited were new (to us) even after we'd explored Old SJ the day prior. Our only wish would be a bit more SJ history on the walks between stops and maybe go down streets with stories to tell in between stops.

The Rum Tour in Viejo San Juan was AMAZING! Fun and informative, each location was incredible. Our tour guide, Claudia was kind, energetic and made every guest feel welcome. This was the best tour of our entire trip to San Juan. Our guide Alberto was so very knowledgeable about the history of San Juan and led our group on an adventure tasting craft rum cocktails in various locations. It was a very enjoyable trip and I would highly recommend.

surprised my friend with this tour for her birthday...very intimate group setting (it was just my friend & i, the guide and another couple)...our guide was super knowledgeable & had great energy...overall all the drinks were distinctive & unique, so I would rate the experience 9/10 (sad it had to end after 3 lol)

We had an absolutely amazing time with Pedro! He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Old San Juan and showed us local favorites we wouldn’t be able to find on our own. He allowed us plenty of time to stop and take pictures and experience the local rum. Usually local tours are one and done but I’d definitely book this one again!

This was a perfect final evening activity for myself, my sister, and my mom on our trip to Puerto Rico! It was so fun to learn about the history of Puerto Rico in general, and specifically in relation to the rum industry - both of our guides (Fabian and Danny) were incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and clearly passionate about sharing and educating us! They made it very easy to get to know others in the group, and this social element was a really fun addition to meet and share the experience with people from all over.
The value of the tour was well worth the price for both the history lessons, social fun, and strong and tasty drinks - definitely not watered down. The guides were helpful in finding alternatives when other group members couldn't have a particular drink. As well, Fabian was particularly attentive to making sure we all made it to the correct meeting point before the trip, and providing recommendations for post-tour dinner! Would highly recommend this tour, and I will hopefully get the chance for another one when I eventually return to San Juan one day!

Right off the bat: this experience was 100% worth it to us. Gwen was an EXCEPTIONAL guide. In our time together, we not only shared great drinks at 3 bars we wouldn’t have stopped in otherwise, but we learned some super cool history both about San Juan and the bars we stopped in. Our whole group had a great connection and we stayed together for more drinks even when Gwen’s time with us was up. This is an amazing and relaxed way to spend a couple hours in old San Juan!
