I misunderstood the experience, I thought we would be trying mojitos and mofongos in different places. There was a food demo where we had an overly sweet mojito and it was done by the time we made the mofongo. Really unimpressive and lazily made app and dessert. Really unimpressive setting, an ugly closed in room with hardly any windows or decor. This was not anywhere near $100 experience, which is what I paid for it. You are really paying for the tour of old san juan in a huge group of 20+ people, and can easily do that yourself and have a mojito and mofongo made for you in a nice place for way less than $100.

As a matter of fact, you did miss the second part of the tour, the beautiful historical walk with our knowledgeable tour guide which complements the experience. Very good experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Expect to do some walking and bring water with you as it may be difficult to purchase along the route. We also enjoyed the mofongo demonstration and the mojito!

The guide was knowledgeable and energetic about the history of the island. The Mofongo making demo and tasting was great and filling. We only got one mojito which was tasty but would have loved another with the meal itself. We requested water while eating. Overall it was a good tour with lots of walking up and down cobblestone hill streets. Be ready with walking shoes!
