This was our very first time tarpon fishing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Manny, was incredibly patient and went above and beyond to teach us all about the fish and the best techniques to catch them. The area is absolutely stunning with all the mangroves—highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great day on the water!

This could have been a miserable trip with the rain, mosquitoes, and being towed back to shore, but it was not! Captain Miguel did a great job of getting us on fish immediately! When we were waiting for the fish to bite, we talked and had an enjoyable time! This was a memorable and amazing experience! Thank you Captain Miguel! I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys nature and fishing!

Javier was a great guide! He has been fishing San Juan for more than 20yrs and knew the waters well. He was great with my two kids and helped them land their tarpon. It was a wonderful afternoon!!!

The amount of fish in that area is crazy. We got 4 hits landed 2. 2 hr trip is great for the avg person. I recommend the 4 hr if you got the time. Captain was wonderful and we had a great time. Recommend for anyone trying to knock Tarpon off the old bucket list!!!

Amazing, must do experience! Captain Manny - is amazing!!!! We spent 4 hours on our charter and out of 5 bites landed 3!!!! Our fishing trip with Manny was excellent. The weather, the guide, the entire experience made for a wonderful day on the water. Everything was well planned and easy. Our ride from the cruise port to fishing was about 25 minutes, then immediately on to the boat. Manny is personable and definitely takes pride in his boat and his trade. We loved spending time with him and sharing his love of the water and the sport of fishing for tarpon

Not every fishing trip produces results, but this $500 charter had problems that had nothing to do with luck.
The boat came unprepared. One bottle of water for four hours in the sun, that's it. No gloves for a tarpon and snook charter, which became a real problem when we hooked two keepers. The captain literally couldn't bring them in because the line was cutting his hand. He even said he needed gloves. We only had two types of bait when the boat next to us had better options and more variety, their captain even told ours he should have more, he also said he should have bought his own gloves. Around the two-hour mark, one of our rods got tangled, and instead of fixing it, the captain just left it in the holder.
When I talked to the owner after we got back, I mentioned all of this. His response was basically "sorry the service did not meet your expectations", no offer for a partial refund, no replacement trip, nothing. When I brought up the other boat having better equipment, he just said "that's a different company" (which seemed to be a lie considering both captains were talking to each other all the time), like it wasn't his problem.
The captain mentioned he'd only gotten notice of the booking at 5 or 6 AM. If they can't properly prepare for a trip on short notice, they shouldn't accept it. I won't be going back, and I can't recommend this to anyone.

Captain Fernando was amazing not only was experienced, knowledgeable, patient and just a down to earth kind of guy. Diego my 14yr old is a beginner so Fernando was very helpful with instruction when he caught his first Tarpon! Thank you again for the great memories.

Abi was fantastic! His knowledge and experience of the waters had us getting tarpon to bite within the first 30 minutes. We each caught one of our dream fish. A truly amazing experience to remember. We will definitely be back thanks to Abi. His character and hospitality the entire trip exceeded all of our expectations and he truly made the experience even better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ABI.

if you love fishing this is the tour for you. Miguel our guide was spectacular. he was so friendly and knowledgeable about the specifics of catching Tarpons. He guided us through the steps and we had multiple big catches! The boat was great size and the waters were calm. We had a mega catch that took team work for almost an hour to land it! It was as long as my teenager and is definitely the biggest catch we have ever had. Thank you Miguel for An experience we will never forget.

I went out with Captain Gabriel tarpon fishing. He dropped me right on top of the fish. Almost immediately, we caught several tarpon and lady fish. In the end, he managed to help me hook a massive tarpon. After a 45 minute fight, we nearly had it in the boat, when it sheared the hook and escaped! The catch and fight was exhilarating, even if we didn't quite bring it into the boat. Throughout the whole day, Capt. Gabriel was extremely friendly, fun loving, and knowledgable. Thank you so much, my friend, I will absolutely be back!

We were an hour late for a 2hr tour… we got lost and thought for sure that the tour would be canceled. However, after messaging the company about our delay, they insisted we come anyway, and that the captain is waiting for us.
Sure enough, we arrived and Hiram was there patiently waiting . He was kind and respectful despite us being so late. He also took us for the complete 2hrs we signed up for. During the tour, we caught two tarpons which made my sons day! Hiram was very knowledgeable and also very patient in helping my son catch his first tarpon. I would absolutely book again!
Note: For beginners, you have to be patient, this is not something where you catch a ton of fish, it’s a trip where you wait some time for a tug. We didn’t know that but it was worth the wait and we had great conversation in between.

Took my two grandboys ages 14 and 19 on this trip. Each brought in tarpon, both caught a 50+ pounder that got away (one after a 40 minute fight!), plus numerous "hits". Captain Tommy was an outstanding guide and teacher. A good time was had by all!

Had a great time with captain hiram. Very professional and helpful with tips as well as hands on. Very well spoken and definitely made this trip feel like home. He was determined we catched a fish today. He really knows what he’s doing, he guided me to reel this beautiful tarpon.
